- I do not like Dokkan, However recently due to legends and sparking zero showing off these 2 there has been a lot of fusion debates going on so I thought this would be a great way to compare them while also starting up a new series: animation battles!

The sad thing about doing this it's that it can never be done fair, because most of this characters come out a couple of months or even an Year apart from each other
so of course someone is going to have an advantage over another
As a vegeto fan I want to remind everyone the main reason why vegeto defused is because he was using an imperfect ssb and if the same happened with gogeta he would also defuse just like gotens.
My head canon is that the dimension crack/CGI part of the movie reset the time limit (due to it going back in time to before when the mountains were intact); so he had already done like most of the damage he needed to, and could go all out for the finishing blow. If not for that, then he defused not long into blue.
What are you on crack. No its cause he used to much power and he isn't a supreme kai. Only a supreme kai can stay longer in the potara fusion.
@@mysticstrikeforce5957 bruh ok first of I am mainly talking on the manga continuity the one where both super broly movie happened and the super hero movie which is the one that is currently being worked on if you didn't know vegito fusion only lasted 5 minutes in the manga and there was no such thing as VeGiTo uSeD To MuCh PoWeR I get that in the anime it might be intrerpreted like that since unlike the manga the ssb stamina cost and energy leak is non existent.
A few extra facts first off ssj3 is comparable to ssb in how hard it is to sustain the form at least in the manga.
Vegetoin the anime lasted 20 minutes against zamasu.
It was stated that the ssb state made the transformation risky as it allowed for energy to leak outside of the user.
And finally gogeta was indeed using a perfected super saiyan blue that doesn't just fix the energy leak problem but it also is a lot easier to sustain and it allows the user to use the full power of the transformation.

Broly got hit with the Soul Punisher, and he was still trying to fight Gogeta. Not to mention it caused an explosion and Broly screamed in pain. Soul Punisher is just a fancy Ki blast that is head canon'd by many to purify people. Janemba is just a bunch of evil energy that is the exact same evil energy that made the barrier in Fusion Reborn. Which means Janemba could've just been destroyed by insulting it. Spider-Man would literally solo Janemba when Goku or Vegeta couldn't beat it.
@@theomnigamer9177 nope sorry but the description in multiple games and guides says that the Soul Punisher cleanses alll evil from the enemy. Broly screamed in pain cuz the Super Sayan transformation requires rage and so evil(hence why Super Sayan Goku cant ride the nimbus)

Even descriptions in the source material should be taken with a grain of salt, as it can be hyperbole. Remember when it was stated Vegito was stronger than Beerus (Goku Black Saga)? Yet we have Broly who is stronger than Beerus according to Goku, and Beerus is factually stronger than Broly.
I'm sorry but guides aren't a trust worthy source and easily get outdated anytime contradictory material is made. Anyone who disagrees just spouts what they have seen on a guide. They need think logically and on a meta level. Because Dragon Ball just relies on rule of cool. Narrative rarely matters since the Pure of Heart nonsense is thrown out the window with the Spirit Bomb. And by that logic Devilman solos every villain.

Broly in this case already pure at heart but overtaken by the rage (not evil in this case) so that's why he still trying to fight Gogeta. If he has evil on his heart, he will definitely stop attacking Gogeta and revert back to his normal Form

Vegito is pure raw attacks, he mostly rushdown for the knockout, Gogeta is always creative with his smack, like soul punisher, Stardust breaker, his all out assault with the explosive fist to the guts, Stardust fall (the infamous ki shower when he was super Saiyan), even super Saiyan 4 got the troll Kamehameha, Big bang Kamehameha, he used Tien's clones technique, the eye blink shot, golden fist, etc.

My only thing with vegito vs buu is that there wasn't really a NEED to be absorbed. If I remember right, the Z-fighters were pretty "Well, we have the dragon balls" (Piccolo even using all of Humanity to buy time) throughout a lot of the stuff going on in the buu saga and the only character that had been revived before being absorbed by Buu was Piccolo.
Now, i dunno if Piccolo having been revived by Porunga would count towards the "Only wished back once" rule Shenron has, but I also doubt the Namekians on New Namek would be opposed to letting the person who saved their race use their dragon balls to revive his Namekian friend

These animations really shown just how much these developers were glazing the life out of my glorious king gogeta. It’s a shame that the good vegito animations went up against the gogeta ones or else the score would’ve been not as one sided as it was.

Jesus i forgot how badly animated AGL Vegito Blue's 12 ki animation was animated.
Everyone even said it was bad on like 2 days from his launch, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THOSE DUMB KICKS WHERE HE DOESN'T MOVE AT ALL ON THE SCREEN BESIDES 3 FRAMES OF HIS LEGS GOING UP, MIDDLE, AND DOWN.
(It was very obvious all the budget for that character went to the active, transformation, and 18 ki)
(Also his pre-transformed state with blue goku and vegeta had weirdly stale/bad animations, even for a dokkan original)

Soul Punisher isn't meant to kill, but it's purify the enemy. When Gogeta do that to Janemba, Janemba was become the child meaning Gogeta successfully purify him. You can see how he smile. When Gogeta do that to Broly, I think it didn't affect it because he's already pure at heart. He is also smiling at the end too. But when Gogeta do that to Hearts, he fail to save him because he can't be purified anymore so Gogeta on this case didn't smile and put sad face to him

@@ethanchin3296 Vegito devised a plan of freeing Gohan, Piccolo, fat buu and the hybrid saiyans from Majin Buu's captivity. I'm pretty sure Goku nor Vegeta are aware that Dende is alive, implying that the killing Majin Buu there would also kill everyone inside.
A common theme with Buu is that once he gets overwhelmed by his opponent, that he'll just try to absorb them. Super Buu did this against Ultimate Gohan. So Vegito overwhelming Buuhan, making fun of him etc would lead to Buuhan using the same trump card. Absorption. Vegito was cocky on purpose with the idea that he was gonna be like this forever. It's the main reason why Vegeta refused to fuse.
But they retconned it immediately after Vegito got absorbed and dbs gave the retcon a sort if explanation with the permanent fusion only being for kai's
Tldr; Vegito pretended to be cocky to free the people absorbed by evil buu.

if you don't have the new vegito AGL at 100% than he sucks. Some untis are good at full unlocked kit. I like both itsa 50/50 and i dislike when those who says who stronger and how has more powerups. the thing is that gogeta has smoother animations since it comes from a very high budget film. This is why they seem much cleaner and more film-like, while vegito is always based on anime criteria, therefore less fluid and less animated, in fact I would like to point out how vegito agl's 18ki is much cleaner and I honestly prefer it to gogeta , which sometimes gives me the impression that it is a hardback in its 18 ki (I mean the phy one). In this case many gogeta's were released later, and consequently with more budget and with new design innovations in the game. I honestly prefer Vegito, only for the fact that I don't think it's right that Gogeta has such an advantage due to the fact that he always comes from high budget films.
