Напряженная Одиллия, мимика выдает. Понятно, дебют.
Не очень понятно сценическое решение, почему Зигфрид во время Чёрной вариации уходит со сцены, она же его "зачаровывает", это же для Зигфрида Одиллия танцует.
А вообще - молодцы.
Такая маленькая сцена... Как на ней они танцуют? Развернуться негде, как в провинциальном театре.
She had many nice technical qualities, but there is not much of a characterization in her performance, especially in moments when she does not have something difficult to do. Some of the bourree sections were sluggish; her fouettee leg was totally turned in, but I guess that is acceptable nowadays. He has lovely ballon, but he lands with such a thud--sometimes not even putting his heels on the ground. Tendonitis in the future. Well, they are young and beautiful and will benefit from exacting coaching, I hope.
The calibre of dancing at the Mikhailovsky Theatre is extraordinarily high. Anything less is not accepted at this company that has some of the best dancers in the world and is, in my opinion, one of the top three companies in the world. Both these highly trained professional dancers have impeccable technique. Your aggressive criticism is unfitting and unbecoming. Intrigued, I checked out your channel and was surprised to see the postings of performances that you choreographed. Incredibly appalling performances of both choreography and dance. Extremely badly trained dancers, unfortunately too often the case in the West. I don't know if you . had anything to do with training these dancers; however, as a choreographer so quick to tear apart these highly trained, beautiful Mikhailovsky dancers, one would think you wouldn't be involved in performances of such low calibre, or at least, at a minimum, not post them publicly. Now about this Swan Lake performance. Viktor Lebedev is a principal at the Mikhailovsky, a promotion few attain. His technique is good; his dancing extremely well controlled, his ballon, as you said, lovely. His turns a la seconde into tour jete a wow moment. He only landed fairly heavily on about three jumps (and that might have something to do with the microphone). Julia Lukianenko only recently graduated and joined the Mikhailovsky (2016). She's just a coryphee, so her debut in this performance was remarkable. Her body and line are beautiful. Her technique generally impeccable. She lost her turnout on her last fouette turns; however, they will improve as she gains more experience with confidence to do doubles and more stamina to maintain her turnout. Artistry always develops over time. That is the case with all soloists. Artistry of movement is key in the role of Odette/Odile. She has that -- no doubt one of the reasons they gave this corps dancer a chance in this role. Your criticisms, especially in view of the calibre of your work that you have posted, lacks any credibility. When you manage to produce dancers and choreography as incredible as we have seen in this video, then that will be a different story; however, ballet is so difficult, especially today when technique and difficulty have surpassed all dance from a few decades ago, such aggressive sarcasm and criticism of two such highly trained and talented dancers is totally unwarranted.
