My grandfather was a war veteran who participated in this sea war (battle of the Java sea) he was a crew member of the IJN ship yūdachi my grandfather worked in a cannon firing squad. He retired from his Japanese naval military career, he joined to fight with the Indonesian state. He once said "sea battle is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen" I was able to ask why grandpa wasn't afraid? He replied "because he's a very good promise keeper" Thanks for the video Gabriel
@@GabrielGameplays51 unfortunately he passed away 6 years ago at the age of 100, at that moment i saw my grandfather had a photo of him on one of the Japanese aircraft carriers "hōshō"
