  • Collection of my personal footage of Vancouver in the early 2000's, including Gastown, Stanley Park, Pacific Centre, Queen Elizabeth Park, Capilano, Harbour Center, Skytrain, bus designs, and more!
Gastown proudly had some of Vancouver's top tourist attractions, and also features that no longer exist today, such as vehicle traffic and Starbucks Coffee on Water St.
Capilano Suspension Bridge in the early 2000's featured the famous suspension bridge that spans 140m wide and 70m high! Those numbers still stack up today as one of the world's most impressive! This is before the days of the glass ledge and other newer features of the park.
Meanwhile in Stanley Park, although dinosaurs no longer roamed, there were still plenty of raccoons, peacocks, swans, and squirrels!
At Pacfic Centre Mall, Eaton's still proudly served as a major attraction and anchor store.
