hello mam, gud day, ask k lng po if the composition Ang Maya is now in public domain music. ? what i mean is kng pwede bang gamitin ung composition for any rendition?
On my opinion, some parts of ang maya has almost similar melody to morning journal waltz by Strauss. I think Jose was either not aware of the tune, or he might take influence from strauss, because even the stile of this song sounds like strausses music, because when you listen to strauss compositions of waltses, this is the style you will observe

the interpretatin by stephanie qunitin is very close to the standards set by conching rosal. i particularly like the
gestures and facial expression of ms. qiuntin. i watched her song at least a dozen times and enjoyed it every time.

Great technique! Beautiful! Almost lost the first cadenza, out of sync with pianist, who is by the way, excellent! Wish I could go to UP College of Music to learn how to sing Kundiman right. I love my former country's music.
