I honestly didn’t love this lineup at first either but you know.. after looking at it for a while it’s starting to grow on me! Definitely a unique color story and you can’t go wrong with Orly’s creme formulas. Im also now sold on that protein base coat 😮 also was dying bc I immediately thought of the Jean ralphio Mona Lisa scene too, it’s so catchy! 😝🎶

In the Conservatory is my favorite. It is the perfect rusty orange that I love. Also it is a nod to my favorite board game and one of my favorite movies Clue. Now I am picturing you on a NY rooftop with pigeons with Julie Andrews singing “Feed the Birds” 😂
I always use base and top coat with Orly Breathables too. I don't know why, I could be wasting base and top coat if it doesn't need them but I just am a creature of habit1
I always love Orly's color stories! It seems like doing some kind of swirly nailart design using all the shades in a collection is the best way to showcase the entire release. I'm too lazy to do that, though! My manicures already take a lot of time.

Some of the colors in this fall collection remind me of two or three years ago fall collection, desert something. They are all beautiful. Think I’ll look for a dupe it video to talk me out of spending money.
I enjoy your review, but…this collection didn’t get me too excited. I won’t renew CP for 2024. I don’t have a big collection (and don’t want more than I can wear)…and for the last year I have liked the Breathable collections more than Color Pass. I’ve also noticed Orly does a very deep discount on the CP collections a month or two after release so I’ll be choosier. (also, is it petty to say how annoyed I am that they gave us “Elysian Fields, Part 2” this Fall? I loathed that color and getting it once is like yeah, ok, that happens. But getting pretty much the same a second time is sort of the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back for me)
I’m anxiously awaiting a swatch video of Zoya Fall! Do you think you’ll pick any up? Very glad this collection comes with the wide brush in it, I hope they will make that permanent going forward.
I saw in a promotional email about the wide brushes coming already in the bottles AND it looks like the price is $12 per 15ml bottle -- I was worried at first, thinking they were going to charge us $14 or more to get what other brands have already been doing for years. They are also offering the entire collection in mini bottles, I think it's 8ml.

I had to come to terms with the fact that I can’t own every single nail polish that orly releases for the rest of time. So I didn’t re-up my Colorpass this month, although it’s probably the best deal in nail polish. This collection is great, and I already have a bit of fomo. I’ll probably pick up Unraveling Story at some point - it looks like the blue gray of my dreams. I think the theme might be movie genres? This one seems very murder mystery to me. And summers was called “Great Escape,” so that immediately made me think of the movie.
Love them all. I have been growing my hair out and actually using the hair clip lol. Still unsure if the protein boost is a basecoat? Says use several days in a row, do we remove it every day and reapply? Just unclear instructions imo. ❤🎉

🤣🤣🤣 when I was living in Japan I saw a cafe do this with drip coffee and it was so delicious! I just break off 2-3 segments of a chocolate bar and put them in the cup then brew my coffee over it and stir in the melted chocolate. It's delicious!
Regarding Halal. For a polish to be halal, it must be water permeable. To be halal, you must be able to cleanse yourself with water. I don’t believe any nail polish is permeable enough to allow this. The fall colours are lovely and even Hillary’s skin has appeal. You’ll look like you have the longest fingers, ever 😉
Yes, I've seen some debate on whether nail polish can be labeled Halal or not so I'm never sure if it's correct to say! And yes, it definitely gave me horror monster fingers lol

Best collection for Fall 2023. And I love they did a shimmer that is a counterpart to one. Can mix it up for fun. Great commentary.

I think all nail polish has to ship via ground, so if you’re close to the distribution center you’ll get it a lot faster
