Thanks Ricardo. This product is greatly improved. We just put one in our neighbor's pond and in about a week, the water became 70% clearer with no UV light. Before we put the skimmer in, there was lots of floating algae that was more slime than string, and the bottom of the pond got little or no fresh air. The skimmer fixed both of theses issues and the pond is on it way to healing itself. We will post a video soon.
@@BlackHoleSkimmers I am still in the digging phase of my pond I am looking at different systems right now. This one seems the most decent for my 2000 gal pond. Im leaning towards this skimmer as it seems more practical and affordable than the other skimmer boxes on the market. Thanks.
@@ricardocalderon9823 Thanks. We just designed a new filter screen that ships with this skimmer that makes it even better. We've been testing it in two different ponds and it is working amazingly. We also are now including an extendable pipe section that will make getting the pipe length correct much more convenient. Looking forward to seeing the skimmer in your pond, and as always we are here to help if you need anything.
Hi. I use this pump: Hygger 2650GPH Quiet Submersible and External 24V Water Pump, with Controller (30%-100% Settings) We've had two of them in our pond both running 24/7 for almost two years with no issues. I like it, because I can control the power. When there is air in the line, I run it full power. When feeding or cleaning the skimmer, I pause it. Pause lasts for 15 minutes. I usually run it at half power. Really happy with it. amzn.to/4b72RQa Thanks for asking. Please continue to ask questions. You can also text or email us.
Hygger 2650GPH Quiet Submersible and External 24V Water Pump. We have had two of these in our pond for over two years now. They only burn about 40 watts at the speed we run them, and we have never had any issues. The controller is not water proof, so we keep it enclosed. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W93SQJP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
This is cool I'm going to 3d print all of it
This is a nice product and I don't think enough people know that!
