He referenced both his and Yoongi's "tear" meanings from Outro: Tear...amazing...
I think the whole concept is so beautiful because whether he is talking to himself or the listener, he's telling them to hold on and that they will find somewhere where they can shine and be happy, and be themselves. There's also a reference in one of the Korean lines where he says he's frequently gone to Han river, a popular suicide location, just when he's sad and needs to think (rather than contemplating suicide).
It's so sad that he's had so many struggles like this and that up until now, we didn't know the darkness he's dealt with because he just radiates love and self confidence to the audience; but it makes it so humbling as well-
like that line "find comfort in looking at other people's thorns", he knows it will help the audience to know they're not alone and that they will find somewhere where they can shine, just like he did.
It just such a beautiful and sincere album and I'm forever so grateful for it 😭
