When I am with my great grandchildren I do things with them “the old school way” and tell them stories when I was their age. Maybe they will remember, I can only hope.

Interesting to see Positano getting ready for another season. I loved hearing Carlo’s mother talking about the olden days. I’m sure it would be nice not to have all the modern-day distractions and live more simply, but I’ll bet some aspects of that life were pretty difficult especially physically. Thanks again for brightening my Sunday!

What a nice video from beginning to end. Indie squeezing herself in through the doggie door! Family - sitting around the kitchen table eating and sharing stories of times past. Does is get any better than that? NO. I used to think that being able to sit there and talk with your kids as adults was the best part of being a parent but it goes beyond that to the next generation. The wise old elders who have the history, the stories, the memories. The best of life! Thanks for sharing your lives and famiglia, have a great week!

Nicki, I always find myself wanting to say you probably have no idea how positively you affect thousands and thousands and thousands of people around the world. It's not just about travel and Positano, it's you and Carlo and what you've built for yourselves. I know that when I watch it just gives me hope for a better life. I know your life isn't perfect but it's pretty darn beautiful and you reflect to us what's possible. It's just extraordinarily uplifting and I just want to say how very much I appreciate it. 💗
On a different note I'm sure you've addressed this but I missed it what happened to Itty Bitty Kitty's eyes? This was a very special video. As I get older I have been thinking more often about my childhood and I think Carlo's Mom nailed it when she said if could go back in time she would because it was happy for her. I think life was not necessarily easier but it was simpler and when you have little, you tend to make your own fun and that brings lots of memories. I was reminiscing with my daughter's Mother-in-Law about things we had that our shared grandchildren will never know and would probably roll their teenage eyes at - if they looked up from their phones long enough. 😊

Salsicce e friarieli piaciono tanto a mio marito. Buona serata dal Belgio.

Loved this video, showing off season activity in Positano. Us tourists always carry away our impressions of a place, where we usually visit when it's full season. And to see how local life continues when things slow down is lovely. And getting older people to talk about their experiences in the past is wonderful, which can be passed down to future generations is so thoughtful. One day Skye can show them to her own children and grandchildren, not just as hearsay but as visual material. Have a good week!🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱

Accidenti che bravo cuoco tuo papà, Carlo! 👏 Cmq la credenza con la pasta mi ricorda quella di mio papà che aveva due mila pacchi di pasta... non sia mai che rimanesse senza! 😅

You should do it more often. Record the older generations memories of their childhood. My brothers and I regretted not doing so with our mom while she was alive. Thanks for sharing memories of days gone by.
