I have a tiguan r line 2013. I love the old models because theyre cheap to find used but theyre also so ahead of their time which makes them seem like a brand new car even tho theyre old!
Hi there, this was a decision made by the manufacturer. It's likely that as Volkswagen have reduced the base price of the R-Line by over £2000 compared to the previous model, that certain options have changed or been removed.
ordered mine at the end of last year, probably get the keys end of June / July, looking forward to it but never driven a DSG so that will be interesting when i get it!!
Hi Rakhsi, I believe the space inside a TIguan is similar to the Mini Countryman but there are lots of differences when it comes to the styling and technology of the two vehicles 🙂
Someone who agreed to replace physical to touchable buttons on wheel never drive a car and is insane. Also why R sets have no memory in R edition? This 2 things need to be fixed asap.
They’re not just touch, they do press down like a button feels like the iPhone touch home ‘button’. So to me it feels the same. The dash is just touch though and takes some getting used to.
Hi Lauren, The General lead times are about 30 weeks currently however if your car is on order it could come sooner. We would advise you to contact your sales agent who will be able to give a more accurate time frame 🙂
Hi there, Specifications are subject to change from the manufacturer from time to time. In the latest model of the Tiguan R-Line, the panoramic sunroof is an optional extra at £975. If a panoramic roof is something you are looking for as standard, the Elegance model includes a panoramic sunroof as standard, prices for this model start from £33,595.00
When I was ordering mine, the sales guy told me they’ve made certain things like electric boot opening only available in the elegance model (you can’t even pay to have it on the r line) as no one was buying the elegance, only life or r line and they had to make it more appealing..
@@CreweVolkswagen you never know with VW. They say 43mpg but they could have fudged it and you know it's more likely around 23mpg if their historic cheating tests are anything to go by.
Hi Bern, It is available as an option on the R-Line. It's all a matter of choice between the Elegance & R-Line trims, and what's important to you as a driver: Elegance will come with a Panoramic Sunroof, MATRIX LED Headlights, Electric Tailgate and Rear Camera. R-Line will benefit from 20" Alloys, Sports Suspension, R-Line Bodykit, Sports Seats & Steering Wheel and Driver's Assistance Pack Plus. All a matter of choice :) Regards
Hi Buffy, I believe you will be getting it as the Model Year 2023 - your current Tiguan is actually our Tiguan Allspace, with the longer wheelbase. It all depends on market trends and demand. However you already have the all new Volkswagen Taos, which has opened for orders.....we're still waiting! :)
Hi Buffy, the future will most certainly be hybrid or all electric. Glad you like the new Tiguan design....fingers crossed you get your in the US soon! :)

Hi there, unfortunately we do not have that information available to us.
Why no pano sunroof in standard r line as we have 69 plate and this has one? Due to get new next year and the sunroof is now an extra at £1000?
