As soon as I stopped dyeing my hair blonde it got so much softer/thicker/healthier. 100% recommend letting your natural hair grow out it makes a huge difference

Totally! However my hair was even more blonde and bleached 2 years ago! I’ve been using way less bleach recently though to grow it out!

I second this unfortunately. I was coloring my hair for a few years, everything was fine for a while, then all of the sudden it started to feel really damaged. But as soon as I stopped coloring it it became so much healthier!! My hair now has never been longer and stronger. I think my hair just doesn’t like color/bleach!!!!

I use women’s Rogaine as well! I’ve used it on and off for years and it works.

I am so grateful you shared how you’re feeling about your hair. My hair is everything to me too and I have been on my journey and now I’m on the other side. Best tips I can give you is RICE WATER!!! It will save and repair your hair. Be careful with the hair growth pills & supplements - some do work but lots leave your hair in a worse place after. Last, the slick back products are very bad and connecting when I started to see a decline in my hair was exactly around the time I started doing slick back styles. I now use the aveda biotanical overnight serum whenever I do a slickback and or a very repair oil on my ends. And!! Dry shampoo- if you use try to cut back half - I know it’s hard but most fry shampoos, the ingredients are horrible for hair growth

2 years ago were you doing slick backs? the super tight buns/ high ponys may contribute to the breakage and unintentional layers, that was the case for me!

I have had a HUGE HAIR journey as well - I started JS Health vitamins about a year and a half ago. I was a bit hesitant at first but WOW I have definitely noticed a difference and other people have as well. It takes time which is so unfortunate because GIRL I feel you!

unfortunately bleaching ur hair doesn't show immediate side effects, hence why blondes usually see hair decay after a year or two of bleaching. it kills the hair from the root and the follicle so you can do all the supplements and everything but unfortunately bleach will 100% of the time kill your hair :,)
