I completely agree with you that if some fundamental things aren't right and sometimes even if they are - no amount of money would be able to help you. That being said, if I'm about to face any issue, especially a serious and long-term health issue - I choose the scenario where I'm having tons of money available over the scenario where I'm already having financial issues to begin with.
