I.V If you listen very closely during that part, he actually mumbled Missy's name. I don't think Quik has anything against female rappers like that. He's stated in several interviews that thought that MC Lyte, and Lady of Rage were some of his favorite rappers. From what I've seen, Quik is just not great with interviews; especially during this era. Notice how he's always looking down, or doing some other awkward, off the wall shit in all of his interview from the 90's. He's better at interviews now, but mostly with smaller venues/ indie publishers. He's just not a camera ready guy. Also, it's also a question of whether or not a female rappers can also " bring it" to the table. Most female rappers aren't that great, and only rap about pussy, and other shit.
