Is it just my imagination but does “Sing it Live “ have a striking resemblance to HSCC ??? Same female singers (different names listed) but obviously the same lead guitar player (very good), and some of the other members of the group being the same as well?! Like “both “ groups, but just curious?

Two crazy good and ultra talented singers out front, who just happen to be stone cold gorgeous! And paired up with a Band loaded with unbelievable musicians! The musicianship is just off the charts! What a fun group. I can't wait to keep seeing and hearing more, after only recently discovering these guys. Just awesome!

Many people take this song too seriously and they sing this with a soft, breezy feel but that isn't real funk. 'To Be Real' is sassy and spunky with a naughty-charm to it.

Duet + Trumpet + Saxo = magic
I like real trumpets, sax and so on very much too instead of faked sound from synthesizer.
@@kamlog Even 'faked' brass has to be played live along with the many other keyboard parts (and sometimes essential because players aren't always available).
@@singitliveworld Yes I know this. Please don't get me wrong. I like keyboard sound too. But to me, the key to the high quality of Singit Live and also HSCC is the large pool of highly talented top players with various instruments, top singers with different voices and having the needed instruments depending on the song.
Out there are lots of cover bands. Mostly drums, bass, guitar, keyboard and one singer. All missing instruments are played by the keybord. And all songs sound pretty similar.
A thumbs up on those dresses alone ladies, just awesome... but everything was tremendous from everyone, great stuff...

You know when these 70`s classics come out Mario will be sitting right in the pocket!... Never overplays his hand and always sets up that grooved platform that drives the song along. Nice vocals as well, smooth bass line, a few pops here and there, horn, sax and keys layered in nicely and a picking lead break reminiscent of the disco 70`s.. all in all a real good job done!

Crisp and clean trumpet/sax playing on a groove like this is not easy to do. Horns are often underappreciated on jams like this Cheryl Lynn classic. But here? To quote Tuco Salamanca:

This one easily gets the PERFECT rating! I was there when this was HUGE, working in a disco no less! And you know all the musicians are Professionals by far, getting it done with these two BEAUTIES in the room and how can they not be distracted? Vocal mix was OFF THE CHARTS. But so was the entire back-line! This is how it's done, no matter where you're from!
So, indescribable. This is the ultimate pleasure for heart and soul. These musicians can all sing and play really well and the vocals are attractively packaged.
