Certainly there are some people that ca think higher than the first level. No matter if they have food and shelter, they dream and hope for other levels.Spiritual levels, of course. How is it possible?
Am I missing something here? I can jive with the message of this lineage, I think it's very fundamental, but I don't find that I have this major upset that these teachers are "talking us down from" or "out of". All I want in this life I either cannot have, comes in time, or isn't "for me". So I am not bothered by it. My only reservation is that I hope the universe will be gentle with me when it's done doing whatever the fuck it is it's up to by having me here to begin with. Do I make sense?

What I meant was I don't feel like a Guru or enlightened, and yet that is the mark of one. I feel like a personally accountable Human Being.
