I didn’t have the option to hit forget password
It’s asking for my password to turn off the screen distance option but I don’t have the change password option
What iPhone are you using and what version of iOS does it have? Also, is the phone using the same Apple ID as when this password was set up?

@@DHTV personally i just got a (brand new) iphone 13, with ios 17.0.3 i think and i wanted to turn off the warning that my screen is too close to my face (because its annoying) but dont have the option to change my passcode and dont remember it

How do I make a passcode is my question
When I follow ur instructions, after entering in my email and Apple ID it just returns me to “enter screen time passcode” and adds another failed attempt. The email I’m using is different than what I used to set up but either way it isn’t working
thats the same with me and now i just have 10 wrong attempts and it keeps telling me to wait an hour
It doesn’t say anything about screen time passcode but it always asks me ot put it in?

I put the forget password and i enter my apple id and the apple id password but it keeps telling me it failed and I’ve already tried 15 times
Only thing I can think of is that this option was set up under a different Apple ID. If you ever used a different apple id or someone else owned this phone before you, it could be that.

Has the iPhones Apple ID changed since you have had it? Usually this happens if you set it up with a previous Apple ID then changed over to a different one.

That is why you have the issue. You need to be using the Apple ID that was set up with this device or else your aunt needs to put in the password

Bro, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro can take 12 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. But iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro can only take 10 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. Why ?
I don't have an iPhone, so can anyone please let me know if you turn ProRaw in 12 megapixel instead of 48 megapixel, can it take 12 bit photos ?
I'm curious about this because, 12-bit = 68 billion colours. But, 10-bit = 1.07 billion colours. That's a huge difference.
If iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro cannot take 12 bit photos, that seems to be a huge downgrade !

i have a greyed out apple id, ive forgotten screen time passcode, tried multiple codes. i'm locked out now and there is no forgot passcode option!! i have iphone 12, iOS 17.2.1 Is there a fix? thx
You may have to contact Apple but if you ever used a different apple id or someone else ever used a different apple id on this phone, it could be the one that is needed to unlock it.

You may have had a different Apple ID set up this passcode and now you are using a different one with the phone. You will most likely need to log into the iCloud account that was used to create the passcode and then disable it.

Was screen time set up with a different Apple ID than the one that is being used now? If so you need to sign into the other one and try.
@@DHTV it’s the same one. That’s why I was confused bcuz I checked to make sure & it’s mine, the same one I’ve been using for years. So, idk. *sigh*
What I mean is if ever another Apple ID was used on this phone, it could have been used to set up this passcode. That would be the one that could unlock this. If not then I’m not sure. I have been trying to figure this issue out but other then the Apple ID being different there isn’t much I have been able to come up with.

You have to find that or reset it. Otherwise you can try to call Apple and see if they have any options.

Did you change your Apple ID since you had the phone? It could be locked to a previously used Apple ID.

Have you or someone else ever logged into this iPhone with a different Apple ID or is it under a family sharing option? You may have to log in and check the other Apple ID

Either your Apple ID or password is not correct or this was set up by a different Apple ID.

This is also happening to me. 😭 My apple ID is correct and I know my screen time passcode is correct too but it wont take it. If I attempt to change my screen time passcode it also counts as a failed attempt, I’m only using 1 email ever since. What should I do please 😭
