Just recently moved to Naples by myself from Fort Myers. I was so excited and now I regret it. I've been here for two months and haven't met anyone and feel pretty alone. Any suggestions on how to meet people (30s age range)? I feel like Fort Myers folks were more friendly and I made friends a lot easier out there. Love your channel =)

One interesting thing I noticed about the area and in many places in South Florida in general is the lack of dedicated bike trails. It’s like there are hardly any. Whereas up in Minnesota where I’m from, they are all over the place.
By the way one thing I also noticed about the interstate highways in Florida is that they are built way far away from the center of most towns and cities. I swear interstate 75 was built almost too far away from the center of Naples Fort Myers Sarasota etc.

Palm trees are very nice and very decorative, but I could see the other trees providing more shade especially during the hot summer months. By the way I think the city could definitely improve the roads by removing the bushes and trees along Highway medians in installing a center turn lane, instead of having people drive far out of their way and make a U-turn to get to a residence or business on the other side of the road.

Perhaps the Internet is not very important to the seniors who call Naples home either full-time or only during the winter.
One thing I found about Florida is that your Internet signal does drop off dramatically once you get to the beach or at the edge of the Everglades.

Palm beach has a slum 1 mile away on the other side of that bridge.. naples has more million dollar homes on the other side of that bay. West palm beach ?? Umm you means like a few neighborhoods? Than you run south and its lake worth where homeless are pooping on sidewalks.. sorry you cant compare the class of Naples to the contrast of palm beach. I dont deny palm beach is more expensive but landmass naples is much bigger pretty much the whole city area is nice all western collier. Collier is the richest county in Florida. Naples is the metro area of collier. Pinecrest is a suburb of miami and yes it does have higher incomes than naples but its not a city center of a metro area its a suburb. Naples has more net worth because its old money. There are lots of 1M houses in pine crest but naples has $80,000,000 homes. Income alone doesn’t make a place richer because most people in naples are retired. Also millions per capita naples is the richest in the whole country not just florida.
