There is one place that you forgot to mention in your video that is the absolute best place to visit while in Naples. That is the Naples botanical gardens! Definitely worth a one or two day visit!
Thank you so much for the tour of Naples. My whole family lives in Naples....but not me. Too hot...too much traffic. New York State is so beautiful. I enjoyed this very much.
Just recently moved to Naples by myself from Fort Myers. I was so excited and now I regret it. I've been here for two months and haven't met anyone and feel pretty alone. Any suggestions on how to meet people (30s age range)? I feel like Fort Myers folks were more friendly and I made friends a lot easier out there. Love your channel =)
Yeah bro I lived in Naples most of my life can afford to live there can't even afford to work because most of the work can't survive down here with that your poor you do not want a Naples the cops will chew you up and spit you out I was denied a couple water from someone who owned a Ferrari and three homes I would love to see whoever this is to make it make you good Naples is not the place is for the rich and wealthy we don't belong most of them are just heartless bastard good luck bro
Been here 6 years and it’s a tough place to live. You need money to live here. Work is seasonal and right now the main employment is construction. I’ve seen rents doubled and incomes remain the same. For that reason I’m leaving. It’s a beautiful place but unaffordable for many. It’s caters to the wealthy.
One interesting thing I noticed about the area and in many places in South Florida in general is the lack of dedicated bike trails. It’s like there are hardly any. Whereas up in Minnesota where I’m from, they are all over the place. By the way one thing I also noticed about the interstate highways in Florida is that they are built way far away from the center of most towns and cities. I swear interstate 75 was built almost too far away from the center of Naples Fort Myers Sarasota etc.
I'm so glad we're going towards more shade trees. Palm trees are nice dotted around. But shade trees work to make it feel cooler and less "unbearably hot" by keeping streets shaded.
@@train_go_boom2065 , Hurricanes aren't an every day occurrence though. The brutal heat and unrelenting sun is. In addition there are many trees that are just very highly wind resistant especially when planted in groups. For instance Southern magnolias with their rope like roots, flexible limbs, and tough waxy leaves. Then there are also smaller growing trees (and larger growing shrubs) that quickly regenerate from the roots when their trunks break or are coppiced.
Moving to Florida and I went to a ton of cities on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida and Naples was OK. Not the best, unless you're impress by materialism, money and old people. I'm choosing Siesta Key/ Sarasota. Great city and nice people and the beach is world class.
Thanks for sharing although I wouldnt generalize wealthy as all arrogant. I go down there every year to stay with in-laws and meet some of their friends who are as genuine as nice as can be . And these people have $$.
It may be the richest place, but having vacationed in Naples on a budget, I can state that you can find bargains if you look carefully and walk safely without being mugged.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS There's something for everyone. I liked it because bad actors can't afford to live there and it's too far to drive. Good places to eat too.
Palm trees are very nice and very decorative, but I could see the other trees providing more shade especially during the hot summer months. By the way I think the city could definitely improve the roads by removing the bushes and trees along Highway medians in installing a center turn lane, instead of having people drive far out of their way and make a U-turn to get to a residence or business on the other side of the road.
Perhaps the Internet is not very important to the seniors who call Naples home either full-time or only during the winter. One thing I found about Florida is that your Internet signal does drop off dramatically once you get to the beach or at the edge of the Everglades. One thing I found about Naples while visiting in January, is that I felt like I was the youngest person there. Lots, lots, and lots of seniors in town during the winter it appears!
Good video beautiful city I live in Florida Ben. There but it's not the richest place in Florida Palm beach is ... richest place in the United States and the richest community in the world. Per capita. A ton of billionaires here they just sold home now for a 170 million.
I agree I feel the entire statue of Florida the internet and phone coverage is not that good . That’s because Verizon is better than ATT. Florida is mainly ATT territory
If you ever want an interesting lesson in town about wealth and privilege, just walk around The Bayfront Of Naples at the intersection of bayfront Place and 3rd Av. S. Apparently those people who own those luxury cars think they can park anywhere they want even in no parking spots.
Imokalee is across I75 and is the poorest place in Florida. My daughter lived in Cape Coral and commuted to her job at the Ritz Carlton Naples. While my neighbor a social worker commuted to her job in Immokalee. Neither could find suitable accommodations nearer work for extremely opposite reasons.

Collier is the richest county in Florida. Naples is the metro area of collier.
