I'm after watching a ton of interviews with Her now & there is an element of un-professional self indulgence like over exaggerating & emoting everything in interviews [same thing happened with Imelda May] that you didn't get from the older generation of singers of Alison Moyet's generation. I mean Mariah sang it in her own style. I find Nilsson and Badfinger was pretty similar tbh, but this is also so unique, her vocal style.
