The University of Stavanger (UiS) has approximately 11000 students and offers a wide range of study and research programmes. Stavanger is located on Norway’s south-west coast and is an urban city surrounded by magnificent and diverse landscapes. The UiS consists of the Faculty of Arts and Education, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Technology, and the Museum of Archaeology.
