I love how the BG music sounds like a final level of an NES game.
That was very useful thank you.
FYI: On my Finder (purchased quite recently) the top cover is held in with three 2.5mm screws instead of the 2mm+Philips. This isn't a big deal since you need the 2.5mm driver anyway.
Another attempt, never worked. Ended up having to drill out the hot end as it spilled out plastic everywhere freezing it in place on the heating block. A huge mess. I will never try this again. I wish I had just stuck with my regular FF standard hotend, or better got a different printer.
Hi. Just a quick question regarding this upgrade. I have just installed this kit today and now i am having a slight problem. my temperature wont reach the set temperature. If set to 210 it will get to 208, set to 240 will only go to 238. i have not had this problem until now and have been printing with petg on 240 degrees without problems. you mention in the video that a PID tune might be needed. how exactly is this done on a stock flashforge finder? also, is there a way to set the temp higher than the flashprint software as it only allows for 255 max.
Thanks for sharing this with the comunity !Have you the profile to use this printer with cura?Thanks...
Do we need the PTFE tube?
Is it possible to only do the first part of this tutorial if all,I want to do is replace the nozzle?
The extruder is too low now. I can't use my touch probe anymore.
What is PID tuning? @
How do you do PID tuning?
Just a quick update. It seems that i had mistakenly screwed the barrel in first and therefore didnt have the gap as shown in the video thus transferring all the heat to the cooling fins. Problem solved and not printing petg at 240 degrees perfectly.
Yep. Got one for my Flashforge Finder. Worked a treat for a number of prints but now it appears clogged. Any videos on how to unclog a Micro Swiss hot end on a Finder? Is it more or less as you would with the original hot end? Thanks.
Hi. Just wanted to ask another question regarding this upgrade. As far as the upgrade goes, it is working flawlessly but i was wondering how to enable my flashforge finder to print above 240 degrees. In flashprint whatever setting i select above 240 degrees when it starts printing it only goes up to 240 degrees and stops as that was the temp limit with the ptfe tube. Should i be using something like simplify3d instead of stock slicer.
Help please. Whislt trying to remove the old nozzel it has sheered off inside the heater block. I was able to order a new heater block but how do I remove the thermocouple from the old one?
Hi. Is it possible with this upgrade to use PLA?
Why do you never use the word a?
at
Or the word the?
just a quick tip, should i use PTFE Tube inside or not ?
