My son had a grand mal seizure when he was 7. He stopped breathing and he was blue in the face when I found him lying on the floor. I thought he was choking at the time and immediately called 911. He seized for 2 1/2 hours. Once the seizure stopped, he was airlifted to another hospital. He was in a coma for a week and stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks. We never found out what caused his seizure and he never had another one after that. He is 35 years old now and has a wonderful family of his own. He's our miracle and god was watching over him. Several weeks later, his ER doctor became his pediatrician. He walked into the room for our son's appointment and he gave him the biggest hug. He said he'd never seen anything like that and for him to make a full recovery was a miracle.
Oh gosh so scary! Poor lil guy, I hope he’s ok?? I’m so sorry you had to go through this, definitely a terrible feeling for parents. Lord let him be well in Jesus name! 🙏🏻
Yes. My daughter had a seizure just like that at 20 mos old. We rushed her to the hospital ER and it took them quite awhile to get her out of it. Scariest thing ever. The Dr called it a staring seizure. We don't know what caused it. Her pediatrician put her on phenobarbital until she was 4. She never had another one. She will be 40 in July and is a teacher. Lots of prayer. Praying for your sweet boy.
Sounds similar to what happened to my daughter when she was 14 months old. She had been asleep and started making weird noises and drooling and was unresponsive. This was at 7:30am and she was seizing until noon. A prolonged seizure is called status epilepticus, and is life threatening. They had to intubate her because she started to go into respiratory failure, and then fly her by helicopter to the next hospital better equipped to handle it. She's 7 now and still on the anti seizure medication. Not sure whether or not she's had any additional seizures (because they can be so subtle) but she keeps having abnormal EEGs and her recent one showed an actual increase in spikes, unfortunately. Still holding out hope for weaning off the meds in the future. But, only time will tell. I had epilepsy as a kid, myself. But, I had grand mal seizures (called tonic clonic today) so they were very obvious. I did eventually grow out of it. But, I too was older by the time I stopped having abnormal EEGs.
Mi sobrina estaba igual q el así ausente ella le provocaron las convulsiones la fiebre estuvo dos veces ingresada se pasa muy mal pq no sabes q. Le pasa
I had febrile seizures as a child. My poor mother. My sister had them too.Even with a low fever we’d have a seizure .After 5 years old no more seizures. My loving mother who is now 96 best mother a girl could ask for! I adore her,i know how blessed I am.Thank you Jesus🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼 I pray the little boy is ok.🙏🏼
My son had his first seizure the other day and now I’m researching as much Info I can. I am glad I recorded for a short period of time because it feels like a blurry bad dream now and the video allows me to show his doctor and neurologist exactly what I seen without missing any details. Thank you for sharing a vulnerable moment. Hope you all never have to experience that again 😩🙏🏼 I feel your worry mama !
Oh myyy.. Me too 😢😢 the image is still so clear in my head that leads me to OVT these several days.. She had covid & electrolytes imbalance (sodium too low).. In my country not every hospital can handle opname for covid suspects..
I am an adult that still has seizures just like that the worst part is the sound you hear its like when a mics near a speaker (but not as loud) and you feel like you're pulled backwards from inside your head and sometimes you can hear but you don't understand and you can't move or respond even if you try. Tbh I really believe it *may* be related to solar flare activity effecting brain waves. Id love to know if your baby's okay and if drs found a trigger. ❤❤❤
As a pediatric nurse I thank you Jesus as I cry watching this you both knew!! Great Job and God gave you him because he trusted you both with him!!❤May God continue to bless you both and may God stop his seizures and all ailments concerning him in the mighty name of Jesus Amen❤❤
If he goes into seizure they will ask specific questions and a video is the best way to show the people treating him exactly what's going on. There is nothing wrong with him asking her where her phone is.
My son just had a febrile seizure today and the doctor explained to me what to expect and the first aid to perform then she asked me to take a video recording the next time it happens so that she can be able to give a 100% diagnosis. If I took a video, I would definately put it online to help other parents identify what their kids are going through. This is the most scary experience for any parent.
It's a rare event that we get to see the actual seizure so them catching it on video can really help doc discern the type of seizure and plan of care that best serves the kiddo.
Oren, orar es platicar con Dios y lo que pidan haganlo en el nombre de Jesus el es el camino la verdad y la vida, de mi parte bendigo a esta criaturita en el nombre de Jesus.
How about have compassion for others and see things from all angles. Use common sense, read the description, be smarter. Recording for the doctor, turned vid off to call 911. They were using their voices to try and comfort their daughter, mom also said tried to stay calm for her sake in caption as well. Work on being an understanding person.
Have you ever thought about that? They're trying to prove to the doctors. What's going on because it doesn't happ In front of the doctors Or in the hospital
You’re actually taught to film these in children’s first aid to be able to show Drs so they can see exactly what happened. Parents forget or miss information when they are in a state of shock so they’ve actually not done anything wrong.
@@MeghaNaveen-kp9ci I agree but then when she asks him to call 911 he asks for her phone instead of using his that is in his hand! I am hoping he was just panicking and not just wanting to keep rolling.
This is actually really helpful for doctors. Sometimes it is hard to explain or you can explain it in a way that leads the doctor to believe it was something else entirely. A video is a perfect way for them to witness what happened, get an idea what it is, and move forward with a plan.
I was confused to why they were recording and not calling 911 but I'm glad I read the comments first, it's good you recorded to show your doctors. I hope your son is ok, sending prayers your way. 🙏
Watching this and hearing the gut wrenching emotion is making me bawl my eyes out. Me and my babies are sick with Covid right now, and this is just hitting me in the feels. I have followed you guys since Married at First Sight, and have been pulling for you since the beginning. I send you nothing but positive energy. Please keep us updated on your precious boy.
I had two as a baby, from fever. My Mom said the first time they put several shots in my foot to treat me, and it ripped her apart, hearing me screaming even in the waiting area. I have no memory of them as I was so young. Thankfully, they were the only seizures I've ever had. My Cousin is suffering from tons of seizures and brain surgeries. His brain grew too big for his skull, creating pressure, pain, damage, and seizures. He just got the implant on both sides of his brain after all if the years of suffering and removal of a lot of the memory portion of the brain.. Now they're saying they may have to remove the implants that were supposed to stop most seizures, and send all the info about his brain to his Dr, after he put one part on the base with the charger. He's just a couple of weeks in post-op. He can't hear out of one ear now, and is having too much drainage from the huge incisions across his head. So, we'll find out soon what they plan on doing... If you pray, Tyler could use some prayers. He's almost 27 and hasn't had a normal life, especially the past 12 years. I'm SO happy the baby in this clip is okay!! I can only imagine the fear they all experienced!! I see a bit of what my Parents must have felt like! It must be extra scary to seize as a baby/toddler. Take Care All, Amanda Heath
Dad definitely did NOT handle this well. Too busy recording than helping and didn't want to stop recording to call 911 with his phone. Asked her where her phone was when his was clearly in his hand recording. Sickening!
Filming a seizure gives doctors a better idea is to what's happening with the brain. It is important to call 911 as soon as possible but it's good to have the previous information
@tammyhibner9994 he had filmed, calling 911 was way more important. They didn't just film for the doctor, they posted it online for clicks. Gross behavior (I have epilepsy and would be PISSED)
Cut em some slack he is just as frightened as Mom and he was looking up where the hospital was and other clinical info. I understand having two phones in use for a child in dire straights.
@@tammyhibner9994ok, filming is important but let me get this straight. You’re filming and your son is having a seizure. Then it starts looking serious and continuing to video is MORE important than using your phone to call 911 to save his life. Got it.
*I had a similar situation happen with my daughter about 35 years ago. I pray that this precious baby is okay. I can NOT believe the amount of trauma that this provoked in me after all of these years!! There is absolutely NOTHING that is worse than seeing your child teetering on the brink between life and death and the feeling of helplessness that you feel as a mother!!!*
This was so scary to watch. I prayed over you guys and Hendrix the entirety of this clip. For healing, strength, open minds and hearts of his doctors, and understanding of what is happening and how to treat it. Bless your family.💜 Whatever your faith, PLEASE know you guys have love out here. ☮️
@@helenhendry4772clip was posted in 2022 I've sent a message to the page it has taken a while for this clip to circulate, they were wondering if any other parents have seen this seizure type before
It is good you record this so you could show the doctor. I have gone through this with my son. It only happened once when he had chicken pox. It was so scary. Glad he is ok now.
Why is he recording???? She says call 911, he says where's your phone? Get off of the camera! People these days are so freaking clueless. Attached to social media and uploading crap. Be a parent. Live in the moment with your children and family. The world doesn't need to see your life on social media.
I see where you're coming from but in this case it's a good idea to record seizures for the doctors in PICU (Intensive Care). The parents posted the video afterwards asking for advise from others, another good idea.
Our 10 month old had a febrile seizure a few hours ago. It was the scariest moment of our lives! We called 911, paramedics came and said that it was because of his fever, which he had for a few hours up to the seizure. He said that best thing to do is give him some Tylenol to help with the fever. It only lasted about 10 seconds, but it was 10 seconds of fear that I had hoped to never experience. I hope your son is doing better!
My daughter had the same thing happen to her when she was 2. I called 911 and they said it was her fever even tho we had just left the hospital 20 mins prior and they sent her home saying just do Tylenol/motrin. Left the hospital with her fever at 99.9 by the time we got home and in the house it had spiked to 106. I told them I didn’t want to leave and they kept insisting she would be ok. Needless to say I would not leave the hospital when she went by ambulance and they tried to discharge her. Told them her fevers don’t stay down with meds- took a lot of talking on my part to stay til they seen it spike back in an hour after her meds brought it down. We were admitted that night. She’s 23 now but still gets horrible fevers so happy your baby is ok and this sweet boy is too! Scariest moments ever!❤🙏❤️
I’m so very sorry for the terror you went through. I’ve not had one of my children seize with a fever but we’ve experienced other life threatening , scary moments. I also was a pediatric nurse so I’ve helped other children and parents through this trauma. What I can tell you is regardless of my training and my profession, whenever there’s a life threatening situation with our babies my training feels like (it doesn’t thank God, but it still feels like it in the moment) it’s thrown out the window. It’s so scary. Momma, you did an excellent job of trying to cool him down and immediately reigned in your fear, upset voice, and tears when he started to get upset. Our children look up to us and mimic every behavior they witness. You helped him so much by remaining calm and putting his emotions first. Well done Momma and Daddy 💜
Henley was the one who got upset. The baby wasn’t even conscious really. But she realized her reaction was scaring her daughter and she reigned in her emotion as best as she could to not scare her daughter despite how scared she was for her son. But yea, She did a good job!
I feel so much for you both as I experienced the exact same thing when my son was 8 months and he stopped breathing. I was in the dr office with my 3 boys. I ran into the hall screaming for help. His pediatrician came running out of another exam room snatched him out of my hands, did CPR and rushed him across the street to the hospital. Turns out baby measles triggered febrile seizures. But he had another episode several months later and they said any quick change in body temp would trigger it. So he was on Phenobarbital until he was 3, and if any fever ....we stripped him to a diaper and sponge bathed to cool gradually. Oh my goodness -- scariest time of my life. But he out grew it like they said and has grown into a fantastic man with a great family. Praise Jesus, we are so thankful. I am sending up prayers for your family. God bless.
My son is 29, and a couple of years ago, he started having weird episodes. Lasting only a few min. His girlfriend is a nurse and had filmed them. He was finally able to get a diagnosis after several trips to the ER. They said he was fine until the videos.
One, it's to call 911 for help; secondly, to show the doctors what was happening to their son. The video will be very helpful to the doctors. By the time they get to the hospital, the seizure likely will have ended, then they'll have to try to explain what happened to the doctors.
@@marthamcandrew3380yes, it sounds like this may be a rural area given the nearest hospital is 27 miles away and first responders may not be as readily available. But you should always call EMS and not take your child to the hospital yourself (unless you live in a rural area with first responder times potentially be extremely delayed). Paramedics are trained to stabilize patients and anything could happen in transit to the hospital (loss of airway/breathing, heart attack, seizures) and ems could potentially save their life. Additionally recording for pediatric seizures is helpful to diagnose the type of seizure for neurologists (absence, atonic, focal, generalized etc.) as there are certain first line outpatient treatment for differing seizures. But calling 911 should not be delayed, due to this potentially converting to a generalized tonic clonic seizure and the need for emergent treatment. Hope little man is feeling better and they have him on the treatment needed for a healthy life.
My son had uncontrollable gran mal seizures starting at 14 months old. So many tests and nothing showed the cause. Thankfully he grew out of them but that’s the scariest thing to witness as a parent. You feel so helpless to want to stop them from hurting and there’s just nothing you can do except keep them safe and wait it out. Great job! And recording it to show your dr was a good idea. Especially if your son doesn’t present with symptoms before they happen.
My grandson suffered the seizures He had his first one at 8 months old. It was determined that they were feberal seizures and that he would outgrow them by the time he turned five or six. The seizures he experienced were brought on by a fever, not how high the fever went but how quickly it spiked is what we were told. It happened to us while we were shopping one day in Target, and we laid him on the cold floor until the paramedics got there. It is terrifying to watch. Every time he had one it was so terrifying and this is exactly what he looked like and was totally drained for hours afterwards. We took him to Hopkins, we had every chest known to man and he is now 18 and he outgrew them by the time he was six. Hasn't had one since. Thank the good Lord. Praying for this little boy as well. 🙏 And Dad put the damn phone down and call 911!
I absolutely love how you can genuinely feel the panic and how scared she was, but as soon as her son started to cry, she pulled herself together to let him know everything was gonna be OK!! Such a brave mama!! I cannot imagine being in the situation and I hope to never be!❤ good job, mom and dad!
@MamaMia0321 I think that was their daughter crying. I know Hendrix is the one seizing & the other child's name is Henley (such cool names giving awesome rocker vibes imo, lol). Of course, I might be wrong, but I was thinking Henley is a girl. Regardless, I completely agree that they did a great job handling such a terrifying situation!!
My son was born premature with an infection in his brain and got the first seizure when he was one month old. He turned blue and stopped breathing. It was the scary moment of my life. We rushed him to the hospital and he was put on oxygen and treatment and recovered. He continued having this wherever he had slight fever. God totally healed him at the age three from this condition. He is now 26 years old enjoying his life. Praying for your son's healing🙏🙏🙏
Sweet little guy! He’s so cute! I hate seeing such a cute kid have to go through something like that! That must have been so scary! Praying for him and hoping he makes a speedy recovery❤❤❤
Thank you for showing us your strength and this life lesson. You are very right, the maternal instinct is immeasurable, without parallel. I wish you and your family the best and most beautiful, eternal thanks from Lima, Peru.❤
Oh I remember when you first posted this…My heart dropped, I can’t imagine what you went through at this moment, I just prayed that Hendrix would be ok ❤️🩹 🙏🏼
My son has seizures, he's severely disabled and nonverbal. When I tell you, you guys handled this SO WELL. I panic EVERY TIME as I monitor him and keep him near me timing them. He's 19 now and I still break down in tears as they happen. This isn't easy. Idc what anyone says. When these happen it is scary! God Bless you and your littles 🙏 ❤
We have had this happen to 3 of our grandbabies so the doctors think it is genetic somewhere. But has only happened when they have ran high fevers at around your son's age. 2 of my grandbabies became so lethargic after the seizure that they had to be careflighted to a children's hospital. But they have outgrown them. Be strong momma. Easier said than done but they need your strength. Prayers to your family.
Prayers that everything is ok with sweet baby Hendrix. I cannot imagine how terrifying that has to be. I’ve heard of these febrile seizures but to have it happen to your own little one is entirely different. He’s lucky to have parents so keenly aware of what’s happening and doing everything to care for him. Stay strong you guys.
I've had a history of petite mal seizures since I was five years old (in 2009). As a result of a brain tumor removal when I was two years old so I think they started because when the doctor took it out, he accidentally caused a disruption of brainwaves. But he still saved my life, so I'm grateful. With my seizures, I foam at the mouth, and my right arm moves up and down while I shake in a violent manner. Whoever is with me has to get me on my left side so I don't inhale the slobber and choke while I seize and they administer the diasapam/diastat via leg or arm because it's dangerous to give someone something through the mouth while they seize because they can bite you or they can hurt themselves (one's generic for the other but I can't remember which one it is). And they have to stay with me until I stop shaking or until the paramedics get to me. And usually I have a terrible headache after. I've had 4 seizures, at least, that I can recall from 2009 to 2012, and then I went 7 years without one. On May 9 2019, I was waiting for my school bus. When I felt dizzy and saw an aurora pass by me then my vision became blank. My grandma happened to be near me, so she helped me back to the house, which was across the street. She called my grandpa to come and help me into the house and lay me down. Grandma stayed with me while grandpa with on the phone with paramedics, and they both went with me to the hospital. My mom was called and she went to see me and she took the rest of the day off so she could be with me. That was the last time I had a seizure. There are different kinds of seizures. Your son appears to have focal seizures. Where he's not shaking or anything like mine, but he's staring off and not moving. If he does seize in the future, don't know if you already do it but don't brace his head, however, make sure the floor (or couch) is free of anything that can hurt him while he shakes. My grandma and/or mom put pillows under me so I don't hit my head on the floor. So you may want to do the same if you haven't already done so for him. Because anyone who seizes will be very sensitive to physical contact at that moment so you have to be very careful with him. Hope your son feels better and he's not epileptic like me

@@tamsinpeacock5839 you wasted a lot of time to say that...I'm WELL aware & medically trained ,retired 911 dispatcher. I Know proper protocol of caring for someone having a seizure. My son had one he was 3 months old. I didn't even know he was sick cause he was such a good happy baby. He spiked a fever at 105. He stiffened, his eyes rolled and started to shake. We called 911 and I ran outside the cool air helped him. They put him in the ambulance. Why does you mom let you on here when you're 9? Very very dangerous. You need to be very very careful on social media, Lil Miss 9. Sick men can pretend to be another kid or a woman and they might lure you to a park or somewhere to meet up and grab you and do bad things. Please never never meet anyone you don't know from the internet and don't give people any information where they can find you. Please, get off here until you're 18.
My Granddaughter had them from about 2yo to 9yo. She continues to have migraines multiple times a month, but no seizures think the Lord. She is 11yo now. The febrile seizures lasted longer than they generally do age-wise with her. Prayers. 💜💜💜
Yes I definitely have experienced this with my daughter, My daughter age 13 has severe epilepsy, and has the worse tonic clonic seizures that she is struggling with right now. a rare form of epilepsy which cannot be cured is called Doose Syndrome and she has around 200 seizures a day. Sometimes she can stop breathing and she could even die from them she is on a ventilator that doesn’t even work she vomits around 100 times in her seizures but vomits blood. The doctors even told us she wouldn't have a chance to live, she can die from her seizures and she has almost died millions of times. She is always in the hospital and is never out, and I feel hopeless like I cannot do anything for her. She always wakes up hand locked and because of these seizures she is level 3 autism and cannot walk or talk or do anything basically. She was using the hospital showers when I was showering her when all of a sudden she suddenly fell so suddenly and I couldn’t help her in time and she is now in surgery because she has cracked open her head. I feel so hopeless. We have tried cannibas oil but it doesn’t help her, we have tried everything. I understand what your going through and I’m always here to talk. They cannot be controlled and we have tried everything and there is no other option but to euthanize her and to put her to rest and all her pain and suffering. It is a very hard option and it's for the greater good. 💜
Omg that's terrible I'm so sorry to hear that & never feel hopeless & always keeping believing for miracles & in searching for the power of prayers that maybe one day that your daughter will be seizure free & that God power will heal your daughter you never know so keep thinking positive hopes
Wow, prayers you don't have to euthanize your daughter/son I had to read twice. When you said euthanize I thought you was talking about a pet dog/ cat. Is that even legal? I mean to euthanize a child?
I woke up to my first seizure at age 14. I had seizures every other day for 16 years straight. I got pregnant at 30 yrs old and that was my last seizure I ever had since. I am now 47 years old and haven't had one since and have not been on any medications. It seems like it has something to do with Hormone changes/puberty for sure. The only medication that ever helped me was Lamotrigine. Seems like everyone is definitely different. I know when I was close to my periods. It would definitely make things worse.. God bless and I hope things get better❤
A lot of times doctors want you to document The seizures in video if you can but that doesn't mean they should be shared with the world They both just panicked I hope is the reason for their behavior

It is heart breaking to see the decline of children’s health in America. They’re not doing well at all, it wasn’t always like this. We have to stop normalizing widespread chronic illness. I was a kid in the 80s, all of my peers were healthy. There was 1 kid who died of an aneurism in middle school. And that was out of a thousand kids. We had about 8 developmentally handicapped or autistic kids in my whole high school. Now half the kids have serious chronic illness, life threatening allergies and 1 in 32 are autistic. We need to restore the health of this nation. I pray this little boy is doing well. 🙏🏼
Until you have been in that situation you have no idea what thoughts are racing in your mind come on realize they are worried about their child and not thinking clearly!!!!! Stop being so judgemental people!!!
Great content. Your kid is blessed to see you posting his medical issues for years to come. When my kid starting seizing I should have thought to film it before rushing her to the hospital. Super great job
Exactly. Wtf is wrong with them and everybody in these comments? It's disgusting. And the dad didn't want to stop filming to call 911, so he asked for her phone. At least she told him to stop and was pleading for him to call 911.
Apparently you don't realize that doctors rely on videos like this to be able to more accurately diagnose an issue. It's also important for other parents to learn to recognize what could be happening and where to start getting help.
Prayers for your sweet sweet baby. I dealt with the same thing many times when my daughter was around his age. I about lost my mind watching her seize . They had to pack her in ice. Her first one was the nurses fault. She didn't check her temp well, and they had admitted her from the ER. She hadn't had anything for fever while they were getting her set up in a room. The nurse said she didn't have a temp, and I told her there was no way it had come down, that it should be climbing again. She walks out of the room and just a few seconds passed and my baby was seizing really bad. She was to busy flirting with my ex husband and didn't leave the thermometer in long enough. I was so very angry! I made sure she wouldn't be handling my daughter for the rest of her stay in the hospital. She had 5 doctors and none could agree what was going on with her. One told me German measles and another told me it was just a rash from the fever. Last time I took my child to that hospital or my other one either. So very sorry sweet momma, it's almost more than you can take..🙏💞🙏💞🙏💞
Agree!!! Ppl are so quick to judge when they aren’t inside the situation now a days video recording will spare your own life against accusations Good job parents !
From a nurse--Do not EVER delay medical attention in order to record a video of the event. No doctor would ever want or ask any parent or loved one to do that. Even if it's only a short delay. Stop the video and call 911. You can look for the other phone while you're talking with dispatch if you want to record it for whatever reason. @Oseline96, the people judging this are right. Help the baby first, record for future reference after.
I had two of my boys have seizures when they were little. Both of them only had one each that we know of. Both are fine. One is now 29 years old, and the other is 14 years old. It's so scary, and I'm so sorry. Praying all is well with him 🙏❤🙏
Did they seize like this? My daughter had one on Friday just like this but we almost lost her. Thank GOD we were in the Dr office when it happened. She went into respiratory distress immediately and stopped breathing for 2.5 min before being bagged by EMS and they stabilized her. She's been referred to Neurology.
@@kristenadornoThis happened to my daughter when she was 14 months old. She was seizing for hours, went into respiratory failure, had to be intubated and put into a medically induced coma, and flown via helicopter to a bigger hospital better suited to care for her. She was in the hospital for 3 days. She's 7 now and still on anti seizure meds as she keeps having abnormal EEGs. However, she's had no known seizures since the initial one. A prolonged seizure is called status epilepticus and is life threatening. I know your pain. Honestly, still dealing with the trauma of that day. I hope your baby is doing well. And, make sure you take care of yourself, as well. These kinds of moments create deep scars for us parents.❤
So glad you got it on camera 🤦🏻♀️. Sorry you were scared but seriously you cannot live your life through the lens - and NOT being on the phone with 911????!!!! These phones and having to video every detail is ruining people’s lives. Maddening I watched this just to find out you were videoing a potentially life n death situation with your baby. BE A PARENT FIRST AND FOREMOST!!! VIDEOS WILL NEVER EVER MAKE UP FOR THIS PRECIOUS TIME THAT IS OVER IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE. I cannot imagine what I would have thought of myself if my baby had actually passed while I was recording instead of calling 911. Sad
You should call 911 FIRST!!! You are wasting precious time. PSA: THIS is NOT awareness. This is NEGLIGENCE. Worry about sharing potential helpful information at another time and focus on the emergency at hand. It’s mind boggling to me that parents continue to do this. I DO UNDERSTAND that documentation of these episodes can be incredibly helpful to a doctor, BUT there is NO NEED to share it publicly.
My son at 15 1/2 years old started have pseudo seizures for the first time in his life a year ago and it is terrifying!! What your son is having looks like absent seizures, my heart goes out to you momma! I hope you get better help than my son and I ever did ❤😢
My youngest started having seizures at 14 out of no where. They weren't normal seizures it happens usually while he is sleeping, he will sometimes start fighting eyes wide open and a shear look of terror in those eyes. Other times he will get up and walk out of the room and drop to the floor doing the same thing. It was terrifying
My son, who is also a redhead, use to have them with every fever that started to rise. They started when he was six months old and lasted until he was about 3 years old. Now he used to run really high fevers, his highest recorded in the pediatrician’s office was 107.2. His were pretty bad, grand mal seizure type sometimes, but not epileptic. Cool compresses, get him in the sink, tub or just a hose with cool water (fully clothed when time is of essence) to get his core temperature down. It helped every time with my son. He’ll be lethargic mostly because of the fever but also because his body just had a febrile seizure. If possible, cool drinks, sugar free popsicles, frozen smoothies, etc that will also help keep his core temperature down. You now are becoming more aware of the signs so if possible get ahead of it before he has the febrile seizure. Easier said than done, trust me I know. Show the video to your pediatrician. If there is a way you can send it to him or her via health portal/email that would work so you could communicate that way until you are back home. Know that they are more common than one may realize. My son is almost 25 and is doing great! He’s a firefighter/EMT and goes on calls for similar situations as what went on with Hendrix and of course lots of others that scare me to death. You never stop worrying about them no matter how old they get. Keep advocating for your child. Safe travels and best of luck! 🙏🏻💙
Wow! I'm speechless. People are so desperate for attention that they'll record anything. Smh. God bless that baby. Lord Jesus, keep him and protect him. 🙏🏽
Father God, thank you for keeping your hand upon Hendrix. Momma you did good, I would have been a mess. I've been watching you since your first show. You both are strong individuals. You support each other in the best ways. 🙏❤️
I can’t believe how cruel people are being in the comments. I about cried watching this. The sheer panic waiting for it to happen. For anyone wondering why the phone wasn’t put down, it’s bc they wanted to record what was happening to their son to show doctors because they’ve seen several and they all say he’s fine and they, as parents, are still worried. I just feel for you guys. That heartbreak and fear. I can’t even imagine. If there’s anything to take from this, it’s to hug your babies close. Saying a prayer for Hendrix ❤️
💯 And they're probably trying to film to show the doctors what they've kept seeing happening. Most of the seizures that kids have never get seen by the doctors , so nobody believes them
I'm sorry to see this... I hope you got a timely needed help, and I hope he's feeling better now... Wishing you and your family God's PEACE and HEALING.
I thought the same thing .Why would this be on a video to begin with ?? Someone had to be holding the phone to video this .That's the last thought I'd have .911 should have been the first thought.Hope he's okay .Prayers
So instead of phoning 911, you thought taking a video of your son in distress to post it on youtube was more important? Instead if filming, you should be phoning Paramedics!! 😡
@@NoFloridaMan waaaaay way back when I was little and there were no phones, parents response to child's emergency was way quicker and once at the doctor's they were able to describe exactly what happend. If the doctor thought there was the need, the child would be admitted for observation or treatment...guess what? We all survived the no phone era!👍🏻
@@tanjasar4151 and it would take longer for a diagnosis. Bc doctors had to wait for another seizure to happen and be there to catch it and witness it. Recording it will lead to a faster accurate diagnosis.
Aww poor baby I hope that he is okay! I believe that in the video the baby boy must of had a fibril seizure which sometimes like in this case happens after a child has a high fever!!
😮😢 I’m praying for you and your family. Sending much love and healing energy your way. May God hold him in His healing hands and shield him from any danger. ❤
Wtf. Is wrong with people. Record it and not call 911 seriously. This is what the world has come to. Rather, record a baby possibly seezing than call 911.
He said he'd never seen anything like that and for him to make a full recovery was a miracle.
i will always be praying! i’m so happy he’s okay ❤

So scary!
Reminds me of my son he was diagnosed with epilepsy . He lived until 34 yrs old passed away last year 😢💔

I'd agree but if your son has seizures it is important to document it. He probably stopped taking the video.

I try and video my babies so I have video for her neurologist

My son had a febrile seizure and it is terrifying and recording is a good way to show the DR exactly what sort of seizure it was

I've been a nurse for 20 years, and witnessing a seizure still remains one of the scariest experiences. Absolute, most helpless feeling.
I'm sure when he's older he'll be thrilled that his parents had the presence of mind to start filming it instead of calling 911.
@wendyfroggattr I can 1 million percent agree with you. There is nothing like that image, it gets burned into your brain.

Yes yes
Maybe filming will be able to help doctors diagnose what’s really happening. Shits weird when people don’t use their brains and jump to bashing.
You’re actually taught to film these in children’s first aid to be able to show Drs so they can see exactly what happened. Parents forget or miss information when they are in a state of shock so they’ve actually not done anything wrong.
I’m glad they called 911 instead of driving him. He needed immediate medical attention. I hope he is doing better ❤
I don't understand why folks would record such a moment YOUR FAMILY NEEDS YOU

@@MeghaNaveen-kp9ci I agree but then when she asks him to call 911 he asks for her phone instead of using his that is in his hand! I am hoping he was just panicking and not just wanting to keep rolling.
Exactly
This is actually really helpful for doctors. Sometimes it is hard to explain or you can explain it in a way that leads the doctor to believe it was something else entirely. A video is a perfect way for them to witness what happened, get an idea what it is, and move forward with a plan.

Fever seizures tend to be way more common at this age and absolutely terrifying you guts handled it so so well❤
I had two as a baby, from fever.

Didn't know there were so many types of seizures. I hope it's not terrifying for the child. They don't usually remember, right?
😊😊
Henley was the one who got upset. The baby wasn’t even conscious really. But she realized her reaction was scaring her daughter and she reigned in her emotion as best as she could to not scare her daughter despite how scared she was for her son. But yea, She did a good job!
😢😢😢poor little guy doesn’t know what’s going on thank heaven his mom is cooling down his body so scary 😢❤❤❤❤❤
God bless.
I just can't imagine how frightening that must've been 😢😢. Sending prayers 🙏 for your family ❤️
Why would you continue filming? Speaks volumes.
And then when she says call 911 he ask where her phone is! I assume he is using his phone to record?!
You have to record! The doctors say record so they can diagnose the type of seizure, it helps your child get the right diagnosis!
And your response says a lot about you
To show the dr or er
My son is 29, and a couple of years ago, he started having weird episodes. Lasting only a few min. His girlfriend is a nurse and had filmed them. He was finally able to get a diagnosis after several trips to the ER. They said he was fine until the videos.
Well put down the frigging phone! What the heck? 😮
Exactly what I was shouting 🤦
And he's asking where her phone is....
Seriously like who can watch this happen and just sit there videoing it instead calling 911 or rushing him to the hospital.
And Dad put the damn phone down and call 911!

He is now 26 years old enjoying his life. Praying for your son's healing🙏🙏🙏
Im glad you took the time to record this medical emergency 🙄
Sometimes it's good to have the recording so the doctors can see what happened.
@@amyadams7728but why post it? That boy can't give consent and now this scary moment is on there internet forever.
I was thinking the same thing. No way any real parents would be recording something like this. They would be in too much of a panic.
Praying for this family Father God, they need your protection and getting this baby healed fast....in the mighty name of Jesus AMEN 🙏🙌♥️
Right! "Where's your phone?" You have a fu*@!ng phone in your hand 😡
"I know"?, but he keeps filming anyway.

Literally sobbing 😢, so glad he is okay. This is terrifying and heartbreaking.

I am so grateful that Hendrix is ok. 🤗💙
I'm glad he's ok. I was crying too.😢😢
Oh I remember when you first posted this…My heart dropped, I can’t imagine what you went through at this moment, I just prayed that Hendrix would be ok ❤️🩹 🙏🏼
No No No vaccine no vaccine
Our son had it a few days ago. I've never been more scared in my life.
Thank you SO much ❤️ yes it was absolutely terrifying 😨
Prayers for your precious boy. I hope he is doing well now. I just wanted to cry with this Mom.
Hope your son feels better and he's not epileptic like me
NO!!! You never restrain anyone having a seizure! Nor should you put anything IN their mouth
@@kellyg9831 I didn't say to put anything in their mouth. Read it again before you make a stupid comment

@@tamsinpeacock5839 you wasted a lot of time to say that...I'm WELL aware & medically trained ,retired 911 dispatcher. I Know proper protocol of caring for someone having a seizure. Thank you for this! My son had a febrile seizure I was not there to witness. I'm glad I saw this video Incase it were to happen again
Horrific. Thankful too. Oh my heart. He is gorgeous. Sincerely
My son had one he was 3 months old. I didn't even know he was sick cause he was such a good happy baby. He spiked a fever at 105. He stiffened, his eyes rolled and started to shake. We called 911 and I ran outside the cool air helped him. They put him in the ambulance. I had such bad anxiety I couldnt get in the back my husband pulled in at that moment and rescued me he got right in the back with him. My mom and I followed in the car. He only had the one and he was extremely healthy after that. He only had the one. I hope that your son stays as healthy as mine did. He is 22 now and my youngest of 4. He is one of the most responsible moral 22 year old I've ever met. I love him so much. Good luck to all of you.

Always make sure the airway is clear and that the tongue is not blocking the airway. Lift his arms to help open the airways. Hope he is fine now.
May this child be blessed with the father son and holy spirit. God bless him.
Praying for complete healing. Please post a follow up on his condition as you have us all worried for this beautiful child. Is he ok?
He’s doing well for now! It’s just impossible to know when it will happen again 😕
My Granddaughter had them from about 2yo to 9yo. She continues to have migraines multiple times a month, but no seizures think the Lord. She is 11yo now. The febrile seizures lasted longer than they generally do age-wise with her. Prayers. 💜💜💜
Yes I definitely have experienced this with my daughter,
My daughter age 13 has severe epilepsy, and has the worse tonic clonic seizures that she is struggling with right now. a rare form of epilepsy which cannot be cured is called Doose Syndrome and she has around 200 seizures a day.
Pray with all your heart. Truly believe.
Please look into the ketogenic diet for the treatment of epilepsy.
WTF!! Why are you videoing this!!! Take care of your child!!
A lot of times doctors want you to document The seizures in video if you can but that doesn't mean they should be shared with the world They both just panicked I hope is the reason for their behavior
My thoughts exactly 💯
Porque abra niños en el mundo que sufren ..Un niño No debe sufrir.. Ni experimentar ningun dolor Son Angeles Puros 😇🥰Dios recupere pronto a este angelito 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Where's your phone? SIR YOU'RE FUCKING HOLDING ONE
Ugh I feel so horrible... this is terrifying
Unfortunately, it's the done thing to video everything..and do nothing..disgusting
Until you have been in that situation you have no idea what thoughts are racing in your mind come on realize they are worried about their child and not thinking clearly!!!!! Stop being so judgemental people!!!
Under those frightening conditions some people freeze up. The dad couldn’t help it.
These cell phones are hell phones! Literally dumbing down especially the younger generation cuz bless their souls that's all they've ever known
Great content. Your kid is blessed to see you posting his medical issues for years to come. When my kid starting seizing I should have thought to film it before rushing her to the hospital. Super great job
Right cuz it's the best content!!
Exactly. Wtf is wrong with them and everybody in these comments? It's disgusting. And the dad didn't want to stop filming to call 911, so he asked for her phone. At least she told him to stop and was pleading for him to call 911.
Same. 🫤
Apparently you don't realize that doctors rely on videos like this to be able to more accurately diagnose an issue. It's also important for other parents to learn to recognize what could be happening and where to start getting help.
Doctors specifically ask you to film them. How else can they know what it’s like for each individual case.
Hope you feel embarrassed now.
Her please had me in tears. God bless you and carry you and your family.
So very sorry sweet momma, it's almost more than you can take..🙏💞🙏💞🙏💞
The physician will find it very helpful in diagnosing him. Good job, Mom and Dad. ❤
Agree!!! Ppl are so quick to judge when they aren’t inside the situation now a days video recording will spare your own life against accusations Good job parents !
Call 911 first, then record.
This happened to my daughter a couple years ago. It’s very scary but thankfully they are almost always harmless. ❤️
I’m so grateful to hear that 💓
I had two of my boys have seizures when they were little.
This is so terrifying, praying for a speedy recovery. Is there an update as to what happened and how Hendrix is doing? Praying for your family ❤🙏🏽
Sad
This breaks my heart. I hope he's well. I love all of you guys.
If only everyone was as perfect as you. 🙄
Sounds like it could potentially be a night terror. Has he had a sleep study?
Was it after the HPV vaccine? Covid vaccine? Flu shot?
Great advice Jessica. Thank you for sharing🙏🙏🙏

Right?? Geesh!
What's cruel is filming this instead of taking care of their son
Stop filming call instead of speculating.. Darm society filming everything instead of acting fast.
Y’all chill! The dad panicked. Good lord. You can tell he tried to stay and be calm but was scared. People online are so judgy. Damn.
Omg. Filming??? Instead of calling 911 right away. ..hope he is ok...sending prayers
I thought the same thing .Why would this be on a video to begin with ?? Someone had to be holding the phone to video this .That's the last thought I'd have .911 should have been the first thought.Hope he's okay .Prayers
Y'all have time to video for UTube, but you can't call 911 so long. Come on now, people, that's crazy.
So instead of phoning 911, you thought taking a video of your son in distress to post it on youtube was more important? Instead if filming, you should be phoning Paramedics!! 😡
You both did great together as a loving team for that beautiful boy ! I pray he is better now.
Yesterday my son had seizure like this....we were so scared...he is still febrile..plz pray for my son....
