I am fascinated with the dedication with both of these teachers. You both allowed children to do things that many teachers would close their minds to, due to fear. I think it is important to show children responsibility and how to stay safe! It nourishes their self-esteem while also creating in them the powerful feeling of trust in which will develop through their adulthood; to not be afraid and extend their abilities. You NEVER want to limit a child's experience. Thank you for sharing your amazing experience.
As I watch your video, I'm so amazed because I had the opportunity to do a pre-k curriculum for my granddaughter during covid. She was 4 years old at the time, and during the weeks we worked together, she built tall buildings over and over. She build with blocks, Legos, and all other types of building materials. She too, considered how to make her structures stay standing tall. Maybe this really is a development task for our Pre-K kids!!!! Awesome!!
I was inspired by this beautiful video clip. It gave me a clearer vision about how I should direct young children and help them expand their thinking path. Teachers' job shall not be like 'feed' children knowledge; instead, the job is about direct children to be positive thinkers and have the confidence to try new things.
Wow... that was amazing. This video was so informative and educational, for anyone who is starting their journey on being a childcare educator or teacher.

So many creative ideas to develop play experiences around an idea, and then a brilliant way to bring the project to a close! Awesome!

Thank you so much for making this video. I hope I can work at a school that supports this extended learning.
This video is great
Great video
I like the Emergent Curriculum concept. I just don't agree that the childrens safety should be comprised so they can learn.
ya, that wouldn't be allowed at the centre I work in.
Id recommend the work of Bev Bos!
