Note - Audi Looks very fast for week one for us at HYMO setups, the car seems to go better under low wing setups as the understeer becomes less of a problem
VERY well done with deep explanations. I hear so much feedback of the understeer on the R8 which was also a major factor in the original days of Gran Turismo (my last times on racing games) but I loved the R8's and learned to play with the throttle and braking for a great experience. I'm getting ready to by a wheel and cockpit for iRacing and look quite forward to seeing the feel of the R8 on a true racing sim! Appreciate the time you take to explain all the details! 100. First time see watching and I real appreciate your knowledge. It helps me understand the world of racing a bit better being as I’m very new to it! Thanks
I'm a simple man. If the car's sound profile features the fuel compressor buzzer irl, I expect it to in its sim racing representation. It's why I only ever drove the Audi and Lambo in ACC and nowhere else. Doesn't sound like it's in the new Audi here. Confirm?
I'm driving the BMW currently, in the 2.5k split. Not a huge fan of it's understeer and boaty nature. I'm looking for a car that rotates better, and is a bit pointy. What would you recommend?
Seems like audi is doing pretty damn well on spa. Top 1-2 split full of audi and lambo. Im struggling to choose car to buy now. I wanted to buy porsche after test driving it, but now im unsure if I should buy audi instead. I only own ferrari and bmw at the moment and still need to buy tracks, so I cant just buy everything. Joined iracing like 8 months ago and got into GT3 in last season, sitting on 3000-3500 ir. What would you recommend?
I think at the moment I would always choose Ferrari as you can use it in the challenge series, considering you already have it. Maybe go for the Porsche it’s quite unique but very understeer based, if you had understeer maybe the lambo. Something in the middle is probably the Audi
I used to race pcup only and liked how the GT3 porsche felt. Its just weird how much "meta" changed over the season, maybe its normal and im just new to iracing GT3. Didnt see lambo in last season at all and now its super popular. I will probably go with porsche now and buy mugello and daytona. I can always pick new car here and there. Thanks for help!
Erm actually thinking about it I would say it’s pretty similar as they both have an understeer characteristic. However I would say the McLaren is more agile at high speed
Reasons for my choices would be that they are always fast and fairly easy to drive, the Porsche can be quite a lot of understeer however has a lot of traction which makes up for it. Mercedes is pretty tricky on the braking trail off however very consistently fast Ferrari 296 is just a great balance I think that the car especially at the minute is just the best GT3
Ye, its more from driving characteristics. I still believe the Audi to just drive bad. I still think it will get a favourable BOP and be super competitive
the fk are you talking about? R8 its not easy to control. Is a rear weight bias car very easly to spin out in turns. Not a car for begginers. I don t know how everyone talk about something they don t know and they record it like its value content.

Got my first win at daytona last night in it. Feels good! I loved the old one and this one didnt let me down.
If this comment gets 100 likes I’ll evaluate the GT3 BOP for 2024S1
Good day, do you feel that all gt3 become slower?
Legend, had no clue you had a yt channel. Great video!

Does it drive very similarly to the old Audi? I'm considering buying this for Long Beach after the old one felt great there in test drive
what would be the best car for at bathurst

Mid engine cars and harder to control but with more inertia,Porsche.

@@GuppyMilk334 the Porsche is always good at Daytona, tracks with low speed it’s traction is insane
Actually VW owns Audi and Lamborghini
Actually is a group. Nobody care who owns who.
How does this car compare to the McLaren GT3? I find the McLaren to be really easy to drive but I know it is on the way out sadly.
Erm actually thinking about it I would say it’s pretty similar as they both have an understeer characteristic.
However I would say the McLaren is more agile at high speed
I would suggest that the Audi is easier on the brakes also
How much for coaching?

The new Audi GT3 wants to spin out all the time under weight shift and braking and accelerating. I hope iRacing fixes that car during week 13.
To fix what? A natural behavoir for mid engine cars? Thats how an R8 works. Everytime rear come out. Lean how to use this feature,is not a bug. lol
What would be your top three picks If you would choose your first GT3?
Ferrari 296, Mercedes AMG EVO, Porsche 992 GT3R

Chadwick fan club 😁😁😁😁😁
they will soon nerf the ferrari, iracing does it’s own bop and doesn’t follow real world bop.

Audi will be op car this season ?
I don’t think so, but usually the BOP is favourable to the new car
