Why paying $46 million when you can buy a proper mansion for $15 million within the neighbourhood and have $31 million left to spend on everything else
the people that could afford a $46 million apartment probably have hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars anyway
This would be an international billionaire who buys this and he would rarely live in it. Only when he visited Melbourne.
Why?
Because they can afford it.
@@lettuce1305 lol
Why do you care! Lol
$46 million where in the world did they come up with that price? 6 or 7mill would be a reasonable price in my opinion.
The owner probably wants to offload it and is trying to call an outrageous starting price to settle at maybe 26 million.
Australian dollar
You can literally buy a mansion in Asia for only $200k-$400k and the beach can even be your backyard. I’ve seen a lot of Americans, Europeans and Australians literally living for good in Asian islands with huge houses and the beach as their backyard.
$15mil at the very most, but $46 mil for 4 bedrooms!
@@mikaelagomez3430 lol Asia is too general dude, yeah you can get a nice house for $300k usd in some parts of Asia, while in other parts even $1m usd only gets you a crappy shoebox
I hate the camera work and editing on these videos. The constant rotation and speed-up/slow-down madness is giving me motion sickness. 🤢
Naufil Aziz agreed so cringe and hard to watch
Yep, it's pretty bad.
they need to slow down also. We barely get into a room and the host is already half way out.
I tend to agree. I also wish the duo filming and hosting would remember that people watch real estate, gardening and interior decoration videos to look at those things, not have a human take up most of the space in a frame/be focused on. There's not need to talk constantly unless you really have something of added value to bring to the video. Not to be rude, but they're the frame for the photo, not the star of the portrait.
Well then, don't watch
Feels like they live in an office. Didn't feel homely at all.
Exactly. I though it looked dated. #old.
because it is owned by Chinese ( the painting), so life basically is work...lol
Thank you for able to let us going inside the luxury world of Melbourne.
Nice shell, horrible furniture. They seriously need a good ID for this.
Looks a Asian family lives here. Saw many Asian factors in the apartment
The owner is a lady from Hong kong. Last purchased price is 19mil, now 46mil?
you mean like the massive painted portrait of an asian family
Jerry Wang What's her name?
@Lachie Odgers it's not worth that much
m mmm ikr
darling your sense of humor is next level haha!
I always love how you dressed 🧡 it’s so simple and chic 🧡
Shoes off on the Tatami mat 🤭🤫
I really enjoy these videos, keep them coming...
I just love watching her opening their fridge and touching everywhere 🤣🤣🤣
It was purchased in 2009 for $19.5 million dollars, the building is one of the finest apartment building not only in Melbourne but the whole of Australia.
The owner was dreaming asking $47 million, they have already dropped the price by $10 million, so it’s now hovering around $36 million.
It’s worth somewhere between $28to $30 million not a penny more making a million a year is not bad.
I think so.
The decor is a bit oudated. it looks like those 1990's luxury homes with dark wood and classic chandeliers.
For 46 M$ you could have much better
For 46 Million, you can purchase a 2 story penthouse on billionaires row in New York City. This apartment is not worth 46 million.. truly, what a rip.. Small apartment, with views that show empty lands also horrible building design, whoever priced this apartment is truly a rookie and their expectations are beyond this world..
it's AUD so it's around 30m USD with current exchange rate, still expensive but there are still plenty of ppl in the world that can afford that
Melbourne is a vastly more expensive housing market than that of New York, which explains the price. I'd rather look out at "empty lands" than the concrete of a neighbouring skyscraper.
Chreg Jorga Melbourne is 100% not more expensive than NY....
Chreg Jorga but I totally agree that I would much rather live there than in a concrete jungle
But does NY have good feng shui tho?
seven eleven coffee and watching this video. totally make sense
So motivating watching this! new sub! keep it up!
Thanks Brendan! Lots more to come...⚡
That jumpsuit is 👌🏻👌🏻
🙌
What do people do with their life to afford this kind of apartment? I don’t even think I would spend $3M on an apartment. Holy shit man!
Most of it is derivative, stock and property speculation, intergenerational wealth compounding interest, private ownership. Money making money. Basically they own things under their name, companies, properties, resources etc.
If you think you can get rich by working hard haha not likely, not in this amount anyway
love these videos
We love sneaking through other peoples homes!!!
Just came across your channel a month ago , currently binge watching 👀 all your videos . They like this Apartment are Epic 🙌👍❤💯🎸😎
Awesome! Thank you!
So it’s a great house in a fantastic location. I’m hunting , doe the back of the sofa for the 46M I dropped last night. Seriously though, I enjoyed seeing the video.
I'm offended......my mate
Darryl said "tell em they're dreaming" lol looks like one of those buildings that are cracking....
this is hugeee apartment!
Simply loved it
🙌
Love the energy in these house tours!
Thanks!
you forgot to show the pool but all in all beautiful place. I actually work next door at St v's hospital and I always wondered what that penthouse was like, thanks.
This was the sub penthouse. The penthouse is bigger again and has the pool on the top. ⚡️
Guys, improve the sound by using a wireless lapel microphone
Thanks Alex! Always got our eye on new gear and ways to step it up! ⚡
huge apartment.
Like it. If I ever purchase an apartment this is it
⚡
You !lol so good in this house Luce
Love this woman she's so good
this apartment is like showing my mum the diamond + gold house I built in minecraft
😂
The view from the spa tub! Prune me please!!
Well. I love it so much.. keeping guys😘😘😘
I really love the way this vedio is edited but sometimes I wish the vedio was little bit longer to do justice to these kinds houses.
Sometimes they could be feature length movies! Maybe we will try a longer one. Would you watch for more than 30min still?
@@Huntingforgeorge thank you. Longer is much appreciated. I have seen the newer ones its kind of long and you are amazing and you cracked me up lady!
@@mairuwuki5150 learn how to spell Vide
How did you get them to let wear shoes in the apartment?
And stand in a clean tub with shoes on, smh
@@tammiesspark and open their fridge to eat their oysters
With the state of the Australian housing market and its serious debt problems - $45 mil is a fantasy.
Unfortunately the style of the furniture makes it worth a lot less than 46 mil
Lovely
I'm not even Japanese, but watching here walk on those tatami mats while not in slippers made me cringe so hard.
"NO!! She didn't!!! She did!" 😱
That's not surprising, wannabes will usually overcompensate. Japanese people wouldn't even care.
I personally find the interior design of this apartment to be very serious and solemn. At the end of the day I wanna come back to a place where it's cozy and comfortable with a homely ambiance and a bit of modern hippie art. This place looks like an office and a modernised Asian imperial palace(I would not be surprised if the owner of this place is Asian).
Love ❤️ Love ❤️
this is verryyyy pricey but i love every element of this. wish i had enough money but rn im broke
You are so lucky. If i stay just 1week i think very lucky
Hi Lucy, great video. Nobody in Australia would pay that money for the apartment. It’s way too expensive for what you get. Not even if it was located in Beverly Hills in LA. I guess the maximum price would be around 25 MM.
Pablo Barros maybe you have taken the price into consideration, buts it’s in AUD not USD.
FYI, Australia has suburbs that are MUCH more expensive than Beverley Hills.
@@chrisgreen717 And houses half the size. We live in an overpriced island.
This time you forgot your oysters well last time was your coffee
both, never came back for it.
way big price to pay $46 mil. i would rather get 6 house and 5 of them rent it out and stay in 1 house.
but i still like to live here in Melbourne.
next do some houses next to beach. Saint kiilda or in frankston, mornington, or brighton, elwood
Many places she shows have fireplaces. I never thought Australia gets that cold or us it more fir decoration?
It sure does! ⚡
in melbourne it gets colder since its farther south. Some parts of Australia even gets snow! Although it is true most places here get to be like over 40 degrees celcius haha
Where I grew up its been reaching 50°C+ in Summer and cold enough in Winter for using fireplaces. Depends where in the country you live.
Melbourne is really cold in winter
@@yip2454 Sydney too. Qld has a moderate weather
I'm not into these boujee homes but she makes these tours so fun to watch.
😘
What if the owners are just crazy like beyond crazy rich and this is one of their 20 apartments that they own around the world 😳😅
Love it..... All of that..... :*
i can see this going for 20 mil or 25 max
View is good, and it is mega huge space, but for the local property price, about 1-1.5 million per 2 bedroom, I am not sure if this has 30-46 2bedroom all together? So this is probably target overseas billionaire market.
It's super easy to get lost in here
Australian Dollar!
you might consider removing your giant family portrait if selling the space? :p
Aaaaw the movie screen was so small
I want to know what it’s worth in 2023 / 2023 😮. Place looks 🔥🔥🔥
Cool penthouse , not worth the price though, with such pricing the ceiling should be at least double what it is,,
Nice apartment but who came up with the price?
What song did you play on the piano?
😂😂😂
Loving your outfit! Where is it from?
This is from Viktoria and Woods 👌
subbed
Thanks!!!
wrong currency maybe, 46m RMB (≈10m AUD) sounds more reasonable.
Classic Aussie
Keeping....
That place in insane! I want to know who the artist of the art work is!!! How do we find that out? The one with the panda and the pelican.
is it Kate Bergin?
@@spiropantaz1 It is. Such an amazing Kate Bergin artwork!
Dom Perignon drinking Dom Perignon!
From the top shelf! 🍾
If you live in Australia what’s you need a fireplace for?
Australia does get winters, and snow in parts.
Vic, Nsw, sa, tas has harsh winters. Perth is close too.
This price is A a joke in 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
If this is in Newyork this price is Justified
Melbourne is a much more expensive city than New York. Possibly because they are the most liveable city in the world.
@@chrisgreen717 Nah, sydney is more expensive than nyc or mel.
one day I'll have something like this maybe better than this!!
🙌
Just a shame it’s not in Sydney 😪
I"m sure there is something just as nice in Sydney. Maybe we should visit and find out? ⚡
@@Huntingforgeorge Please do, Really enjoyed the video.
stick to one speed, why do you have to go fast motion every few seconds?
Such a dope apartment! I just started my channel and also just posted an apartment tour! Let me know what you think 😉
Its surprising how much difference a nice big rug makes in a space. Love the tour!
this apartment would be way nicer if it had a contemporary interior. vintage interiors just doesnt suit a modern penthouse
I think if you buy it the new owners will let you remodel...
She says,”This is what life‘s all about isn’t it?” My life is all about rotted weatherboards and ghastly 70s Italian tiles kmn 😭 (just as an afterthought don’t leave the oysters on the bench put it back in the fridge! you’re gonna get epic food poisoning
😂😂😂
You are so "touchy"! For exampel eating oyster then you stroke your hands on white walls.
I was saying the same thing I find that's so nasty!
Seriously if you came to my 46mil home and wearing shoes all over the place....I will breaks your legs....
@@dungtran-ki4if You people are such WANKERS
46 mil? Worth every penny
I want to buy this but iam short of 46000000
Finished watching 12:59
She played “Chopsticks” on grand piano in a $46 million Asian apartment lol..
She sure did. 😂😂😂
just imagine there is an earthquake and the whole thing falls over
I would just buy multiple 2mil dollar houses if I had that money
We don't get earthquakes in Melbs
this canttt be 46 mil it legit had 2 single beds in one room, max 7mil but i wouldnt buy it even for that
I hate when people call any room with a projector a private movie cinema it’s just a room with a projector.
seeing the palmolive shower gel in a $46 million home is quite jarring also did she just walk on the tatami mats with her shoes on...........
its worth 46millions no one bought it for 46 millions 10 years ago i heard that it has been sold aroun 20 millions
This price tag for any house is extravagant and ridiculous! No house is worth this. You can get a perfectly nice and pricey house for $2m with all the creature comforts. If you can afford to squander this kind of money for a house, you should do something more worthwhile with it. Plenty of homeless people and those struggling to live and plenty of worthwhile causes out there. It will be good for your soul and conscience (if you have some).
I don’t see any detailing in the place to hit $46 Million. I acknowledge the location and view as much as the space but the no. they’ve put up in this place is a bit over exaggerated this in not Belair Beverly Hills 😏.
She is gorgeous ❤️
hectic camera.
Do you mean $46m Aus? Theres no way this place is worth 46m usd
GO BRUINS it’s in Australian dollars, it’s an apartment in Melbourne... why would they advertise in usd?
30 million usd i guess 🤔
Security hey?- probably does night shift as an UBER driver or hotel quarantine....
$46million apartment - Palmolive milk and honey shower gel 😂
yeah but if take into account the salary of the assistant that picked it up and the company car of that assistant and so on ....that Palmolive costs thousands :P
jk ...sort of
Amazing Apartment but the price is a joke compared to others
they just dont wanna sell it
no matter where it was located this place should not cost 46m. so ridiculous! I rather buy a land and build my own mansion in Melbourne, and i would still have extra money left over for nice cars and so on.
It is not sweet home, just expensive house.
What a joke. With that money you can buy modern mansions in richest states of US.
Tell me about it! I wish Melbourne was as cheap as America
Good lord is that really what we sound like? Her accent is too much and I hear aussies speak literally every day.. she must be from Queensland 😅
Alien Groups: have agreed and confirmed to live in Melbourne. Thanks. Done.
Seems super Asian from the feng shui elements I could pick up
Oh just heard the feng shui reference
Asian owner of course
$46 million .... and no swimming pool.
