In this video I try to survive and conquer The Betweenlands, Minecraft's most dangerous and scary dimension. In this dimension, everything is completely new. New ores, mobs, bosses, everything you know about Minecraft has been changed, and is now a lot more creepy and dangerous.

Yeah. As far as I know, Minecraft Modding allows for great freedom, meaning that's is possible to make a mod around whatever you want due to their infinite power.

the most terrifying enemy is the Infestation, it puts bugs all over your screen!
The infestation is just as bad. 😭 I hate those so much..

I support the decision of giving yourself a second chance because of the swamp hag that killed you through the wall, it’s something most new players don’t expect and can catch them off guard

If you're standing with the blocks that are kitty corner you can be hit by mobs.
That was a glitch meant for players
I have used that glitch in many different games for a long time
I tried to do 100 days with this mod myself and couldn’t even get past day 20, so mad respect. Also this was so genuinely cinematic and exciting

@Hunterkage Joestar its not better, whered you even get that idea, vanilla tools are just decreased in effectiveness in that dimension. The "bone" armor and wooden tools hes are equivalent to wooden stuff in the overworld. Ive played a ton of betweenlands

Ah I look how people struggle with this mod, and feel so proud of myself for completing it and conquering the Sludgeon :D
that's not the only boss.
@@Ghorda9 it's the hardest one. Others are way easier, and if brag of killing some boss - that's this one. Basically, I killed every boss, including Spirit Tree with max wisp charge. Also Sludgeon is not boss. Boss is called Sludge Menace

That part when he found jimmy felt like the ending to an older movie with the music and everything. I really enjoyed that lol
Major respect for the honesty over that Swamp Hag death. Some "less scrupulous" 100 Days Hardcore creators would have left that little detail out. It's why I've developed the habit of watching their health and food between cuts like a hawk.
But even though that death was technically legit, (if you've ever built an Enderman farm, you know that melee hits can easily go through corners like that), it is certainly a "cheesier" minecraft mechanic, and not a satisfying way to die. It didn't cheapen the experience to know you'd died once, and I'm glad you continued the challenge.

Oh my god ive played betweenlands so long ago expecting something short like other mods but then i managed to spend 150 ingame days in it with my friend from the amount of content. This is definetly my favorite mod

Wasn't a real glitch actually. Zombies in vanilla can do it too just fine when in the corners of your lil safe spot.
Stay away from corners as their hitbox slightly go past the block.

YES BETWEEN LANDS YES! Between lands is hands down my favorite dimension mod. And I may or may not be a beast at it.

The ol' corner trick is always troublesome. Always make sure you do 8 blocks around you inside of just the basic 4, many creatures are able to hit through that corner gap.
Good Job! The Betweenlands is my favorite dimension in all of the Minecraft mods. It's so well crafted and so difficult with many unique features.

It might have been able to just hit you through the very thin corners of the encasement. I know zombies sometimes do that to one of my friends when they do that.

I'm convinced that the decision to add deepslate in the extended deeper part of the underground was inspired by The Betweenlands.
With a few tweaks to keep mojang’s 10 year old rating, this would be a very cool new Minecraft dimension! I wanna see this in vanilla Minecraft.

glad the betweenlands is finally getting some attention. when i first starting uploading videos in the betweenlands on my second channel, i was the only one doing it. been following this mod since 1.7.10, it's v nice.

Note: you can make a smoker and burn the peat to get the smoker going. Burn moss on top of beat to turn it into burning peat, place smoker on top. Use fallen leaves gathered with shears to use for smoking. Smoked food gives more. You can also purify swamp dirt for your farm. It helps your farm actually. If u dig normal dirt sludge worms pop out of it sometimes. Those can be used for fishing if you make silt glass jar to store the worms caught with nets.

The respawning when the mob killed you through the block is completely understandable and so next time you should add corner blocks to prevent the mob killing you through the block

Funny Story: I were watching this video and playing Minecraft. I created a new modded world, and ended up spawning on a island. I then collected string, made a fishing rod and started fishing. In my 4th catch, I got a bow with POWER 4, INFINITY AND UNBREAKING 3. TELL ME WHATS THE CHANCE OF GETTING THAT.

When you died to the hag when it hit you through a wall, it wasn't a glitch, thats just one of many weird hitbox things in minecraft. You can stop it by covering the corners :)
or just simply being away from the corners

It's going to be impossible because of stalkers and even more impossible if it calls 4 stalkers, no one without fully enchanted octine armour is going to encounter one and survive without running away
