The harmony and that violin chills my bones. One of my absolute favorite southern bluegrass songs. It’s beautiful I get chills every single time I listen to it
So the Steeldrivers are categorized as Bluegrass but that doesn't describe their unique sound. It's a mix of Bluegrass, the Blues and Travis Tritt country with a hint of Southern Rock. It gets down deep into your soul. There's nothing like the Steeldriver's sound. Lead singers have come and gone but their sound is always the same. You can depend on that. If you're not a Steel Head I only ask why?
STEELHEAD 4 LIFE. Seen them probably 8 times. Awesome show regardless who is singing. Even seen them with the guy from American idol when Gary was having issues. This is coming from a metal head. Can't deny good music.
First thing in the morning I have my cup of coffee and tune into the Steeldrivers songs. Then, another cup of coffee and more Steeldrivers. And then...... I'm ready to role. Yeah , I love 'em that much.
I am SOOO glad you all decided to keep this band going!!! Tammy, such a great job on the lyrics and telling a story! And Kelvin... you are such a GREAT addition to the group! I LOVE the vocals! Of course people are going to compare you to Chris, but you've got your own soul and grit that's just right for this band and I'm glad you're a part of it. Tammy with her lyrics, Kelvin with his gritty soulful voice and the musicianship of the whole band... my goodness... Stirs the emotions and the soul! It makes you FEEL somethin'! The whole band is wonderful! Please.... don't stop.... keep making great music! I love it!

I's a full-grown man the day you were born Yeah, you're definitely a little too naive 'Cause I'm bad for you I'll put the hurt on you Like a midnight, all night Blowin' through the crossin' lights Don't mean nothin' to a bullet train If you know what's good for you You'll step aside and let me roll on through 'Cause I'm bad for you You want your tender heart, Go all to hell and back You wanna fall apart? Baby, I'm good at that Think you can hang, girl? I'm pretty sure you can't And ain't it kind of me to tell you the truth? I definitely like this cd, good solid material. A few years ago I managed to catch a short performance by the Steeldrivers at the Grand Ol' Opry and came away very impressed. Following the Opry I encouraged folks to go see the band and buy their music. I've bought their cd's and now I've the opportunity to see them again at the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte NC - I'm looking forward to the show. All ya'll come on down and join the fun, because this is going to be a good one!
@@TheMidnightModder The show was last Friday, March 6. The Steeldrivers delivered a fantastic performance and everyone had a good time. Folks in the audience was up dancing and singing - simply great! After the concert, the band took time to sign autographs and talk with us., they were very nice and personable.
Love this band. You guys are my favorite bluegrass band since I found you half a dozen years ago. Nice switch when Chris moved on. I don't think it could of been any better for your sound. You guys are awesome I love you !! 🎶🎶🎶🎶🥰🥰🥰🥰
I'm just now hearing about this band. Never heard them before. I thought Chris Stapleton had a great voice, and he does, but this dude's got an amazing voice. He's testifying
Not a fan of this > sounds like a bad mix of bluegrass and "bubba gump" country music. I love this band and have been a fan since 2007, but this...it's just not that good.
Can't believe anyone would listen to this album and say it's not good. Same goes for saying Stapleton is no good since he left. Both are putting out some awesome music.
Crazy impressed, my friend's. I'd give you a couple million thumbs up. Great sound , voice, harmony and of course talent. Keeping it real!!! My hats of to ya. Keep on driving 💯💯💯👍

Tammy is one of the most underrated musicians/singers in bluegrass music ❤
Burning a hole in my screen with how much I replay this song.
I can tell you right now, this song is one of the greatest songs ever written and recorded. This song/band WILL stand the test of time
Thanks for keeping the music real and soulful! See y'all in March!
My favorite band, i dont even know how they look like but it's been years and i can't stop lisening to their music

After listening to the whole album my mind is a pretzel. Keep on rocking.
Never been into bluegrass but this caught my attention!! I’m a fan now

New Guy sounds just like Chris Stapleton, it's amazing. Great work!
Hes not so new now hes been with them for a while
I've been with the band for 3 years, come October. Thank you for your compliment!
Man this feels like it should be a James Bond themesong for a movie set in the Everglades or Delta.
Sounds good, haha going into my playlist
Love the record!! Great job
Rounder Records indie artists are amazing.
I wouldnt call the Steeldrivers indy in a few years.
@@meganmcmillen3162 they’ve been playing for over a decade
Damn...............
It's a real good .sound should go far.
Wow your voice gets prettier each track.
Truth
He is sounding A LOT like Chris these days. Wow!
Damn right
I legit thought this was Chris, am very confused atm as its apparently not him??
Sounds bad..assss
...keep it up , gradually fades
Usually ends up in: not tonight
Songs you wish you could get that one ex that’s stuck on you to listen to.
Is it me or does he sound like Chris Stapleton.
Great song and sound ;) although I do miss Chris on vocals
Still pretty good, Chris stapleton is incomplete without this band. Much like Maynard isn't as good without Tool.
Could I have some drums, please?
LOL..Bluegrass, old timey classic drums?!...lol
Ken Newell Don't wanna sound blasphemic. This is a great song, really is. It' just...with some drums power it would be a bluesrock anthem.
LOL..I get ya.
It would be, at that!
Drums ????? Surely you are joking. High and lonesome, like it should be.
@@davidhicks7450 high and lonesome - the only way

Not good since Stapleton left, same can be said for Chris, no good since he quit the steeldrivers
