- Join me for the best session of the year, I managed to catch a fish every cast. Its been a hard few weeks but everything is definitely picking up.
As you know by now I really appreciate you watching my videos, Thanks again.

Love this video. It reminded me that a few years a go I took a complete novice ray fishing and even had to teach him to cast before we started. I gave him pulley rigs and showed him how to bait up. Four hours later he'd landed three good sized rays to just over 9lb to my mere two rays. He also had dogs and whiting. The sheer joy on his face at every fish landed and the way his was buzzing all the way home made me feel like a million dollars. There is so much joy to be had from fishing, not only from your own successes but also from passing on your knowledge to others and watching them succeed.

Great video Wayne. Both yours and Toms videos keep me going. In my 80's now so can't get out like I used to. Avon Beach and MIlford Shingle Bank (little walking) my limits plus fair weather. Tight lines both.

I think White Mark is a mark you won't find me at. I've only got one leg left, and I can't afford to break it on those bleddy boulders😄 You look a proper happy chappy when you're catching👍 On my first ever trip to the BC (Porlock), I caught my first ever spotted ray some years ago.

Make sure that your seat box lid is closed correctly before you sit on it I lost one of the catches and had to buy a replacement which wasn’t cheap!!!
Yes mate, they do break if you sit on the catches.

The trouble is the trailing hook would get caught up, that's why I use a pulley. I use studded boots mate
Great video as always Wayne, been looking forward to it the last couple days. After watching back through previous videos me and my brother want to try and fish Cogden for plaice and rays, we’re coming from cardiff and hoping to get there April 15th. I know we’ve got to park in a national trust carpark but when we hit the beach where is best to fish? Go left or right and how far a walk? Any help would be massively appreciated as we’ve never been before. Thank you and look forward to the next video 👍🏻
Hi Scott, most people walk left for Plaice and right for rays. I would go left. Its all pretty good but obviously more busy by the car park. You will smash it I am sure.
