Go into menu, select lock/unlock code, or hold down the lock key and put in code 1 2 3 4 5 6, and then you can access vhf frequencies, but you must do this every time you power up the radio
Thank you for the video- nicely done. Have you tried the scan feature at all? I have the HA1G and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get it to scan more than 16 channels at a time. It has a 250 channel memory capacity, so one would logically assume that it is capable of scanning more than 16 channels at a time. If you (or anyone here) have had success at this- please let me know.

Thank you for sharing this information.
don't you have to download unlock file, to be able to access vhf or UHF other then GMRS?
Very impressive radio for the price. Keep us posted on how it does for you.
Yeah, it really is. The quality seems to be way above the typical cheap radio.
@@paulethier3416 They are definitely onto something here with this build. I hope to see the firmware evolve as well.
There is a firmware update that changes the black lettering to white. Much easier to read.
Thank you. I will look into that.

I'm sorry I haven't really played with that option much yet.
Just wondering if you're going to do a update on this video and I am thinking about getting this radio myself
Nothing planned as of yet. It seems to be a good radio and with the ability to monitor other VHF and UHF channels it has good functionality.
Can you add another antenna
