Your reaction after the numbered Chase Claypool was perfect haha. This is looking like a tough albeit fun product so far. Without the chance of Stroud, Young, Levis autos it feels really limiting with just 1 to justify the price tag. I do like the design though this year. Little bit of 2020 vibes but obviously not the same.
I can’t explain how it was so easy to buy a Certified Hobby box for $200, and a Donruss hobby box is selling out quickly for $210. I like Donruss, and I think it’s the case Chase and rated rookies that do it for people. I like the case odds for blasters a lot better in terms of price, but who knows? Inserts look great, but I’m not sure about the base design this year. Awesome rip!
I'm wondering if they printed less as a result of recent sets not selling as well? Seems like a drastic change for them to still have certified and origins in stock then donruss vanishes in 15 minutes. Could have been a strategic play by panini
@@SevenCitiesHits you can always count on Panini trying to glean every last dime they can from collectors. I think you might be onto something. I’m really hoping box prices continue to fall a bit. In reality Donruss should be $150 at most. I remember buying 2020 Donruss for $170 which seemed really high at the time. Lol
certified is a much better product in my opinion. donruss is up past $300+ a box now too

The more rips I see of this product the more I'm thinking I'm going to skip it. But tbh with myself when I see it on shelves I'll probably scoop up a couple boxes. Lol

I agree with you that this is probably a pass. For me, it's also the fact that these are...not great looking cards. I'll probably buy a few blasters hoping for a Stroud but that's about it. Thanks for the video!

Why people pay top dollar for the remote chance of pulling a graded 10 premium card is beyond me when the chance of that is so minimal. 90% of people lose money.
I think a lot of people are realizing what happened over the past 3-4 years and either are moving out of the hobby or are smarter collectors because of it.
i agree with your last statement, seems like collectors are being smarter. Its definitely not the height of the hobby anymore and things are calming down.
