can you do this with Ubuntu server instead of PI OS
needed to substitute pip with sudo apt ina couple of places as the tutorial is very old .. and had to use root level on a cople of points..

Super helpful, the included instructions got me nowhere. This video got it working for me in less than an hour of trial and error.
I keep getting a error 400 when I run the wget pi installer scripts line. I see that you look like your using wifi in video so maybe I should try without ethernet and see.
Is this the same on retropie?
in order to get my pi to display the info on the display on restart I had to do the following
