If we can’t protect the chosen one and give him time to throw it doesn’t matter how many blazing fast wide receivers we have . I’m sure our coaching staff recognizes that.

This recruiting swing & portal news is intriguing. So far, it looks like Rhule has Nebraska picking up some important pieces to plug in and raise the bar here.
Kudos to the staff and the players on campus who are helping land the guys here.
    GBR !

It's an interesting problem to have. We know we have some really great talent in waiting for offensive line but that more than any spot is where you have to get a group of 5 who can work as one...I would love to see us pick another 5 to rotate with the starters so they can develop that chemistry....but you can't afford to not place emphasis on experienced guys from JUCO or the Portal as well.
Like I say it's a very interesting problem to have.

@IRONHORSE427RACING I agree here. we got some really good young prospects already there. I think Gotula did as good as anything we've seen from Teddy Prochazca . whose never really shown any long term success with his injuries... it's just a matter of seeing if these young guys can do it on Saturdays

The college rule as written leaves no room for interpretation. The targeting happened so they must call it. Not doing so IS the officials inserting themselves into the game by allowing a blatant violation of the rules. Not doing so leads to issues of integrity, which ASU fans are right to raise. I don’t like the rule but they should have to enforce what is written. I respect Sip admitting his bias and Sean saying what it was. Great show!

Dana has become Matts reality check. Matt's too nice and emotional.... Dana came in here and started kicking ass and taking names. Matt gets too attached to his players.
Don't get me wrong. It's awesome to have a coach who cares... But the downside is that he cannot make the tough decisions. Dana came in here said get that guy on the field.... And what's that guy doing on the field? These wide receivers are not being coached.... Why is this 20-year-old coaching at Nebraska?
Thank goodness Dana decided to come on board! 🙏🙏🙏

Luke fickle has a winning style of offensive football. Unfortunately, his style of football doesn't win at Wisconsin. He doesn't have the management level expertise to redirect the organization in the ways it needs to change. He's just going to muck around for a year or two and then they're going to can him

Sip literally said that he's fine with obvious fouls not being called so long as his favorite team is benefitting from the non-call. I have no respect for people who think that rules should only apply if they help your chosen teams. What a completely despicable comment.
