I have been gardening for over 40 years and in all of my research everyone claims that you can't grow carrots from tops - you would only get the greens - so I never tried - BOY did you prove them wrong ! thank you

If they should flower, you can harvest the seeds and sow them. Where I live, they are incredibly expensive
We use to do this when we had an adorable pet rabbit because she loved the green part (leaves) of the carrots and this gave us lots of tops for her to eat.

Удивили! Но так заморачиваться из-за 4 морковок я бы не стала. В ведро можно посадить несколько морковок,они много места не занимают.

It doesn't grow a whole new carrot. The carrot is a root, not a bulb. What you'll get are seeds.

Для тех кто обманывает людей разницы нет,и то что в воде просто сгниет,а при посадке в грунт даст семена.

Вот, перед началом ролика меня сомнения мучали, может я неправильно поняла? С чего бы это у моркови начал корнеплод нарастать? Она же в семена должна рвануть со страшной силой. Максимум, что может получиться, это ботва, зелень для супа или чая.
Уже видела ролик про выращивание картошки в ведре, где посадили один сорт, а выкопали совсем другой. Это заставляет сомневаться во всех роликах канала. Хотя некоторые кажутся интересными, и в принципе, возможными в реале.

Did nobody notice that in the portion where the carrots were being harvested that the plastic liners in the red baskets were no longer yellow but had changed to clear??? There is no way that a cut carrot can grow a new bottom, it will only grow leaves.

When some plastic paper is exposed to the elements long enough it turns clear
Never, not once has a carrot top ever re-grown a carrot for me and I have rooted and transplanted many however, I have gotten flowers that produced seeds which did result in one very nice carrot this year much nicer than the purple carrot seeds I bought which didn't do well at all.

That’s right! They’re biennial but you can grow out the tops to create plants that bear flowers and then you can gather those to plant! 🥰

Ese procedimiento no existe! Para obtener una zanahoria, debes sembrarla

Ну из рыхлой почвы можно вытянуть плоды легко.
А вот куда делись старые"попки"? И, конечно, у них морковка почему-то решила не давать семена, а отрастить новые корнеплоды. Наверное, считает себя картошкой )))

this video is fake. carrots don’t grow from their tops. they’re grown from seed. this does work but it does not grow a carrot beneath. it grows flowers that have seeds in which you plant and THOSE seeds you plant will become like carrots shown here. one carrot grows from one seed!

De esos pedacitos de zanahoria, no va a crecer una zanahoria, pero si, crece una planta que da semillas. Y al plantar las semillas dará zanahorias.
