It's a very all or nothing card and requires setup before shuffling the hand back into the deck, It's great to have fun with when playing Sonya and Academic Espionage or any 4 drop card.
I'm hoping Dane can cook up some shenans with using Doommaiden + Sonya to steal a bunch of cards from the opponent, then use Quasar to shuffle them into the deck so they don't go back.
Now hear me out Mr Dane. I got a mission for you. Quasar. Wild. Tess hostage rogue. Vanish plus 3 mana draw 2 minions. You dont need the kingsbane fatigue tech no more, and it frees up your hand and guarantees more tess shuffled. Can even make it an XL deck and put in some wincons! (weapon buffs, or garotte etc)
It seems a weird card that I can't decide how I feel. That 6 mana point and to get the most out of it you want to play it on curve, but also reliant on having a little bit of prep/board control so you can play out card draw immediately to keep momentum or hope wildly that your first draw after on a new turn is card draw to get the engine going.
I don’t think it needs to played on curve, it just has to be played more like an OTK deck. But instead of one turn killing, you’re basically setting up two-three turns to win with draw.
It’s a worse version of Celestial Alignment IMO. Basically it is a lesser version of that. That one get rid of mana in a ramp heavy class, this gets rid of the hand in a draw heavy class, but you can prep for both. (With Anacondra you can basically draw through your deck even without mana, same for the location). Rogue doesn’t really uses that expensive cards, so the 3 mana discount is probably enough, but with Aligment you usually wanna run some really expensive things.
Thank you for opening my eyes to the thief rogue potential of this card. I basically only play thief rogue at this point even though it is a terrible deck

I was thinking of putting this in Miracle Rogue with a butt ton of card draw, the new asteroid and spell damage cards and garrotte and just rip through the deck, make big boys with the location and do a bunch of damage
I'm the typical idiot that is going to play Quasar with Field Contact and Poggo Hopper on day one of the set. Is one of my most anticipated cards of the set and I have no idea what to do with it. Most likely I will make a deck that draws all their cards very fast to then then refill the deck with 40 Espionage cards and call it a day.

theres a bunch of minions that say "starship piece", when they die they add their stats and effect to the starship you're building, you can pay 5 mana at any time to make the starship into a minion. If you have any more starship pieces die afterwards, they start building a new one

I like having to overdraw on half your turns because of how hard it is to generate a card that doesn't 0 or +1 at minimum

Quasar is one of those things that makes you want to run Robocaller and hope to roll a 6 except when you do you just draw it naturally every time.
