The reason they're so breakable is the plastic screen. It's made very poorly. If they would have used a more durable material like glass in higher-end tablets these would be great and wouldn't have this as such a common issue.

You didn't even show the hardest part which is how you got the screen to pry off so easily like that. I got pieces of glass flying in my eyes and my fingers are cut up from it.
Dude. I used screen removal tools from Amazon. I'm sure using even a hair dryer for a minute on a side, then sticking the (holding open) guitar pick looking tools in while you do the other would work too.
A tiny, tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol around the edges will also help to loosen it up, just try to avoid getting any on the LCD under the glass. The electrical components are fine, but with any prolonged exposure, it can cause issues with the LCD. If you get any on the LCD, no biggie, just try to wipe it off. A little bit of isopropyl alcohol on the edges is all that you need and it should come off very easy - the good thing about these tablets is that the adhesive around the edges of the screen have no cables or anything important in the way. If the digitizer cable gets cut, it's whatever because you're replace it anyway. The only thing you need to be careful around is the front camera. Some people may prefer to disable it anyway since it's a kid's tablet. Hope this helps if you end up having to do the replacement again!
Uh oh. Im on the 2nd broken one. The screen is blinking in fuzzy double screen. It is fuzzy and doubled off and on every half second. Is there any way to fix it?
Yes I think most tablets probably follow similar instructions to fix the touch screen. Mine is a different model but from the videos I've seen, it's all basically the same process.

@hollyallyson4111 Oh yeah! Fun fact for anyone reading this!! I used GermX and wiped the strip. It had lile red ink on it or something that came off on the tissue. Def not supposed to be on there. So, if it doesn't work the first time, just clean it off with rubbing alcohol/Germ X or something and try again! Lol
Ok what you need to do is look on the back on the tablet. It’ll say the model number or go into general settings. And find the co trial panel. Look for tablets specs. Then go on Amazon. Type it in and boom a week later it’ll be fixed. Very easy. Use a heat gun on outside edge to loosen glue tape. Then peal off old screen. Clean it well. No dust ect. Then insert new screen. Take off back plate. Install wiring into harness. Then boom you’re done

What do I do if the screen does nothing?
The new strip that goes in the clip was a little bent. Could that be it?
Ask for a replacement for the new screen. Sounds like you got a defective one
