I dunno still sounds like a strat on the clean channel. I’m looking forward an acoustic pedal for my Les Paul to play in church and I was hoping for something more transformative, anyone have any better ideas?
What did you change on the amp? Red light on then red light off. Was that switching to a clean channel? The boss AC isn’t very expensive but as an acoustic sim if it’s into a desk amazing, out of a cab not so amazing… an acoustic through v30’s or any other speaker not designed for it doesn’t sound right. If we are hearing the pedal into an interface it’s not a true representation of what the player will hear through their set up
I’d much rather have this setup in a live situation than have an actual acoustic guitar sitting there that you’re only going to use for the odd song. Saves worrying that your acoustic will be stolen too as it will spend most of the night on a stand waiting to be used for just one or two songs.
In live band mix it’s fine , maybe worth trying it though a PA or full range speaker too , the old but gold boss acoustic pedal is better as has two outs so you can split the signal , one to guitar amp one to desk / pa / keyboard amp ( a great alternative )
this is the same thing a the mooer one or any other $25 amazon version. same thing just a different color housing. not really bashing it but these are all over the place online. this is nothing new.

These acoustic sims get a lot of hate... but i think theyre pretty cool and do a decent job. Got one off amazon for like $30
