Thanks mate I think my problem was that I changed my console if through console manager on my pc but it’s must had a bug and didn’t change the console id in webman so I change it in webman and activated the rap files and it was success thanks again
Wan Firdaus I believe that has something to do with the EBOOT.BIN for the Game. You’d have to use a Program to Patch it to “4.21+”, so that you can Play it on the Firmware you’re on. What kind of Game is it occurring on? What kind of CFW are you using?
@@ImpulseModz so I fixed it by installing the webman mod package and I did the samething as u. But when I loaded the game the 80010017 error popped. I tried using CEX and DEX to load it but the same error. Its probably because I'm using the package store and it's missing the RAP file I'm not sure.

If not, then that may be the reason why it's not working for you. *Note:* Having those Options check marked via webMAN are permanently set, which will Result in the System having the CID/PSID work after every Reboot compared to setting the PS3ID to CEX via Rebug Toolbox, which Results in you having to set that Option after every Reboot in order to Play Online.
Bought a used console on OFW 4.89 all my blueray games give me this error, plays blueray movies completely fine and ps2 games. Did this dude that owned it before me screw up something with jailbreaking that's not letting me run any of my ps3 physical, genuine games. I tried reupdating the console from usb, formatting, activate/deactivate PSN profile, swapping disc drives. Weird thing is the game disc shows up in XMB, but throws back this error when I try and play any disc. Tried 10. I haven't tried remarrying a new logic board to the blueray drive or jailbreaking yet... looks like im screwed.
Do you plan to Jailbreak the Console? I'd suggest doing that before trying to remarry the BD, but you'd have to use a Non-BD CFW, so that the PS3 doesn't get stuck or has an Issue during the Installation process. @Rodrigo Marques I read somewhere about this on one of the PS3 CFW Forums. It has something to do with the EBOOT.BIN, if it's from a Jailbreak Folder Format. I believe that I also had this Issue with .PKG Files that had Fixes associated with the Game(s) and after the Game was Updated; It'll result in a License Error or Error 80010017. I never had the chance to find a Solution for this, but when I do, then I'll make sure to Upload it and Link this Video to it and vice versa. No problem. Good luck!

If those 5 Games are working, then this Method isn't for you. Issue could be with that specific Game that's giving the Error. It's possible that the .RAP File is Invalid. I had this Issue with WWE 2K16. Came with a .RAP File, but the Game had an Error upon Launch.

It's a Simple Fix. Just Re-Activate the .RAP File(s) on the Game(s) with the New CID. You don't have to Delete the Game and Reinstall it. Just do what I stated above. It's a different story, if the Game still pops up with an error or another error, then that's when you have to Reinstall the Game(s) with the New CID.

You’d have to look for the .RAP File(s) of the Games you’ve Installed after Jailbreaking. I provided Links of those Sites in another Video. If you can’t find them there, then your only solution would be to Purchase them again and obtain the .RAP Files from there, but that’s risky. Doing that will either cause an Account or Console Ban.
*Note:* I also wrote everything down in case you had an Issue in regards to this Video. Make sure to Read the Description, Pinned Comment/Other Comment. I explained it in the Video. (On Screen) It has something to do with the Console ID. (for .PKG Files Only) If the Console ID is changed frequently after the Game has been Activated with the Previous Console ID, then this Error will occur. Join the Discord Server, if you need more help. It'll be in the "About" Section of this Channel. *TLDR:* Changing the Console ID after the Game has been Activated will present you with that Error upon Launch. It has to be that specific Console ID you Activated the Game on in order for it to work. *Fix:* Simply Re-Activate the Game with the New Console ID. All you need is the .RAP Files for the Game(s) you want to Play/Activate.
I've been giving it a go, but I always Clear CFW History and Disable CFW Syscalls. I haven't been Banned yet on HEN and I've also used Mods like Black Ops 3 Mod Menu on Zombies. I haven't been hit with a Ban on PSN or on the Game's Server like what would happen, if you use the Original Files on Black Ops 2 with CFW, then it instant Bans you from their Server, but I'll give that a test next. I dont suggest doing this, if you plan to stay Unbanned though.
Exactly. Whenever someone changes the Console ID after a Game has been Activated with the License, then it'll give a License Error, because the Game thinks you're on another console due to the ID being altered, so Activating the Game again with the same CID will make the PS3 think you're using one console instead of multiple.
Is GTA 5 still giving you this Error? What Region was the Game on? (Example: BLUS31156 or BLES01807,NPUB/NPEB) *Note:* Mods can only be used on the Disc Version of GTA 5. Will not work on the PSN Version.
Help im on CFW 4.86.1 rebug, done everything right but trying to boot any game results in the error 8001017. multiman,Irishman,webman all give it. I tried using ISO format, disk format and PSN format for a number of games none booted. Please help.
Trapping Info That's the reason why. .RAP Files that are Activated via reActPSN, PSN Patch or anything similar to it correspond to that Specific Console ID. If that Console ID gets changed to another/frequently, then the Game(s) will result in a License Error. You'll have to keep Activating them (Refers to .RAP Files) every time the CID gets changed.

@@imtherealchez Check, if you have “Package Manager” under the “Games” Section at 2:52. That’ll determine you’re on a Jailbroken PS3. If not, then you’ll have to Modify your PS3, but that’ll also depend on your Model, because there are certain Consoles that can have CFW (Full Jailbreak) or HEN (Semi Jailbreak). HEN can do what CFW can, but it’s very Limited.
Depends. If you're trying to Play Online or Stay Offline? Playing Online, you'd have to constantly change the Console ID (CID) when it gets Banned (Doing this affects the License(s) for the Activated Games in .PKG Format. Stick with one CID and you won't get this Error on those Games in .PKG Format.
I had the problem because the original CID I used was banned and despite spoof it reported the error, because during the installation of Rap it uses EID0 (Cid Banned ) and not the CID lv2 ( CID Spoof ). That's why I couldn't download the RAP. The only solution was to use IDPSET by changing the CID Real and not in Current / File (I refer to the PSNPATCH schematic), as I tried to replace the latter but it always reported the same error 80010017.
Weird. webMAN MOD worked for me when changing the CID, but I don't think the Game(s) not working had anything to do with it being Banned as I've used a CID that's Banned and it was used when I Activated the Game with it and those Games still work for me to this day. It could've just been from the EID0 being set a certain way in Rebug Toolbox. I can't recall what it's called in Rebug Toolbox, because I haven't had an Issue when switching between CID's and Playing Activated Games. I've always Re-Activated them while switching CID's, because once a Game is Activated, then the CID changes; the Game(s) will result in Error 80010017, so the solution would be to stick with one CID to avoid the Issue.

It's a Simple Fix. Just Re-Activate the .RAP File(s) on the Game(s) with the New CID. You don't have to Delete the Game and Reinstall it. Just do what I stated above. It's a different story, if the Game still pops up with an error or another error, then that's when you have to Reinstall the Game(s) with the New CID.

I had obikuni multistore and it worked perfectly, i had to change my console id and now none of the games work due to this. Idk how to get my old console id back so how can i register the games under this console id
king rishon Simply Re-Activate the .RAP Files for the Installed Games while you're on that Specific Console ID. You'll have to keep doing this with each CID that you change to. That's exactly what I'm showing in the Video.
*Note:*
All .RAP Files that are Activated correspond to a Specific Console ID that you've used. If it's changed, then this Error will appear when Launching the Games.

You’d have to look for the .RAP File(s) of the Games you’ve Installed after Jailbreaking. I provided Links of those Sites in another Video. If you can’t find them there, then your only solution would be to Purchase them again and obtain the .RAP Files from there, but that’s risky. Doing that will either cause an Account or Console Ban.

I explained it in the Video. (On Screen) It has something to do with the Console ID. (for .PKG Files Only) If the Console ID is changed frequently after the Game has been Activated with the Previous Console ID, then this Error will occur. Join the Discord Server, if you need more help. It'll be in the "About" Section of this Channel.
*TLDR:* Changing the Console ID after the Game has been Activated will present you with that Error upon Launch. It has to be that specific Console ID you Activated the Game on in order for it to work.
*Fix:* Simply Re-Activate the Game with the New Console ID. All you need is the .RAP Files for the Game(s) you want to Play/Activate.

I've been giving it a go, but I always Clear CFW History and Disable CFW Syscalls. I haven't been Banned yet on HEN and I've also used Mods like Black Ops 3 Mod Menu on Zombies. I haven't been hit with a Ban on PSN or on the Game's Server like what would happen, if you use the Original Files on Black Ops 2 with CFW, then it instant Bans you from their Server, but I'll give that a test next. I dont suggest doing this, if you plan to stay Unbanned though.

Exactly. Whenever someone changes the Console ID after a Game has been Activated with the License, then it'll give a License Error, because the Game thinks you're on another console due to the ID being altered, so Activating the Game again with the same CID will make the PS3 think you're using one console instead of multiple.

Have you tried using the Jailbreak Folder Format of it? This Method's only for .PKG Files by the way. I wrote it down in the Pinned Comment.
Help im on CFW 4.86.1 rebug, done everything right but trying to boot any game results in the error 8001017. multiman,Irishman,webman all give it.
I tried using ISO format, disk format and PSN format for a number of games none booted.

Trapping Info That's the reason why. .RAP Files that are Activated via reActPSN, PSN Patch or anything similar to it correspond to that Specific Console ID. If that Console ID gets changed to another/frequently, then the Game(s) will result in a License Error. You'll have to keep Activating them (Refers to .RAP Files) every time the CID gets changed.

@@imtherealchez Check, if you have “Package Manager” under the “Games” Section at 2:52. That’ll determine you’re on a Jailbroken PS3. If not, then you’ll have to Modify your PS3, but that’ll also depend on your Model, because there are certain Consoles that can have CFW (Full Jailbreak) or HEN (Semi Jailbreak). HEN can do what CFW can, but it’s very Limited.

Depends. If you're trying to Play Online or Stay Offline? Playing Online, you'd have to constantly change the Console ID (CID) when it gets Banned (Doing this affects the License(s) for the Activated Games in .PKG Format. Stick with one CID and you won't get this Error on those Games in .PKG Format.

That's another cause I didn't think about. It happens when you're on DEX CFW by Default. I need to write that down in this Video and that Other Video.
I had the problem because the original CID I used was banned and despite spoof it reported the error, because during the installation of Rap it uses EID0 (Cid Banned ) and not the CID lv2 ( CID Spoof ). That's why I couldn't download the RAP. The only solution was to use IDPSET by changing the CID Real and not in Current / File (I refer to the PSNPATCH schematic), as I tried to replace the latter but it always reported the same error 80010017.
Weird. webMAN MOD worked for me when changing the CID, but I don't think the Game(s) not working had anything to do with it being Banned as I've used a CID that's Banned and it was used when I Activated the Game with it and those Games still work for me to this day. It could've just been from the EID0 being set a certain way in Rebug Toolbox. I can't recall what it's called in Rebug Toolbox, because I haven't had an Issue when switching between CID's and Playing Activated Games. I've always Re-Activated them while switching CID's, because once a Game is Activated, then the CID changes; the Game(s) will result in Error 80010017, so the solution would be to stick with one CID to avoid the Issue.
