We play three times in this duel mode.
Without the drafting buildings, we feel like we aren't dueling (trying to accomplish the objectives first than the other player), but just trying to survive from the punishment of the events.
But if we start the game with these buildings already available, it was so much fun, because the game feels like a race to complete the objectives.
So I have a question, while drafting buildings in the game set up, these buildings tiles are already available for each player or should we claim one by one by doing the Trader action?

From my understanding, they are available. I don't have the rules in front of me though.

I need to get this module to the table. :-) I bought the expansion mainly for the Invasion module, but you definitely piqued my interest in The Duel now. :-)

Do it. This is a super fun 2 player game. So far, my go to way to play Orleans 2 player.

Agreed. I really am attracted to the idea of the cruise convention, though. :-) Seems like a great way to do it. Things may change next year. ;-)
