Just shows you how British we Aussies still are, most of the British slangs Naomi uses, we use in Australia all the time too. By the way "fizzer" isn't used for soft drinks, it's when something was bit of a let down after a lot of hype or looking forward to it. Eg I was looking forward to seeing that exhibition but it was bit of a fizzer, hardly anyone showed

Strewth is one people don't really use or understand anymore. But like most of our slang it's a contraction of what used to be a full sentence: "It's the truth!" It could be a question or an exclamation. Over time, drunken Australian mouths turned it into a new word: "'s'trewth" and then completely forgot what it even used to mean. The evolution of language!
