I bought FZS V4(Gray) 8 months back, here is my honest review:
Price- 9/10(1.55 Laks)
Power- 8/10(You will feel the power, but not like MT15 or R15, but as for the price I will say it is still good)
Mileage -10/10(I commute 40KM daily, and I constantly get 54-55 kmpl which I was not expected 😮)
Comfort- 10/10(You will get excellent comfort, no back pain, neck pain, nothing after 100KM also)
Engine smoothness- 9/10(It's a Yamaha engine, but after 90kmph speed, it will vibrate a little bit, but will not feel that much)
Pillion seat- 9/10(If you're tall, then you will feel some knee pain after 1-2 hr sitting continuously)
Display- 8/10(Not included gear shift indicator, but Bluetooth connectivity is there, so I am ok with this)
TCS- 9/10(It is most useful if you drive on bad roads, but if you ride on a plain road, it is useless!)
Looks- 9/10(Front look is like Futuristic, back is aggressive, but look is our personal choice)
Exhaust- 8/10
Horn- 9/10
Headlights- 9/10
Indicators- 11/10 LED Indicators!
Overall I would say, it is a daily commute which looks like a 250cc engine bike..If you want to buy, just go ahead, but if you want to race with some chapri guys, don't even think about this bike(Not for power but also for it's reputation😅)

Purchased this bike 3 months ago. Amazing experience till now. Use it for my 50 km daily commute and it feels like a breeze even in traffic conditions. Proud customer. Only after sale support team is poor.

No dual channel abs for 1.29L? Similarly priced ns160 offers dual channel abs & kick start as standard.
Apache 160 4v offers the same and even more features.
No idea what Yamaha is thinking not giving this bike any substantial update in last few years.
Yahama is most expensive brand....their 150cc r15m comes in 2.45 lakh...so u can't expect value for money from them

I got FZ V3 in Bangalore 6 months back, the on road cost was 125000
Ex showroom price is only 99900 for the standard variant of fzv3
There was no other bike in 150cc that I could get for this low price
Apache, Pulsar cost was upwards of 1.5 lakh
Hence it made sense to buy fz V3 at 1.25lakh
Fzv4 should have all the features if yamaha is charging so much
I would say those who want to buy best mileage and comfort in 150cc get Yamaha FZ base varient. Save money and spend iton petrol to make it Paisa vasool bike.

Sab bole pade ho power km hai kam hai par ye ni sochte ho ki city ke liye bike bnai gai na ki race lgane ke liye city ke hisab se power shi h or fir power kam rakhi gai issliue ki mileage bhi acha mile or look to acha hai hi ab jinko chori kar ke bhagna hai to vo log bike na le 😂
Power ka asli pta hi city or off roads and unche area m chlta hai. Phle ise le or phir dekh kya drama hai ye. Mujse le le abhi li hai 4 mhine huye hain. 110000 m hi de dunga, abhi panni bhi vesi ki vesi hai is par. Ak bande ko 1st and 2nd gear mai bhi nhi kheech pati guu nikal jata hai iska.

Maine gangotri & yamnotri ji ka travel kiya may 2023 me bs4 v3 ke sath or seriously its awesome. Mere sath trip me royal thunderbird, royal classic & royal standard thi but wo bikes hills me vo performance nahi de paye like fzs v3. Practically 55 average taken after 1100 kilometres

let me tell you everyone has their own taste of bikes for example I own FZX My friends are telling me that Raider is far better but i have ridden both raider and fzx and fzx is best for me speed wise bhi aur comfort wise bhi

first of all ek he baat kehna chahta hu its not for racing bike ..its only for city rides and comfortable and reliable smooth long lasting engine..same bike hai mera mileage 49.2 de rhi hai..3month pehle liya tha..I am very satisfied with this bike..power thora kam hai or build quality plastic fibre ka hai bt baki sab baria hai..mai roj 60km travel karta hu aj tak koe pain feel nhi kiya ma kasam..pulsar N160 mera chote bhai ka hai wo bhi chalaya bt fz ma jitna stability or comfort milta hai itna pulsar ma nhi mila..haa pickup mast hai pulsar N160 ki.bt fz v4 is king for me

I have Avenger 220 but facing lot of back pain due to bad roads. Is Yamaha FZS V4 a good alternative? I had expected it to have a soft rear suspension. Can you suggest some good bikes with soft suspension for city rides in the 150-200cc range?

Fz v4 ka suspension default ka number 3 pe hai aur toda hard hai...mechanic ko bolke suspension ko number 1 pe karalo joki softest setting hoga. Lekin isse ek draw back rehega wo 3-4 km ka mileage drop hoga

I drove these two bikes today, refinement was good in fz and seat is way more comfortable in fz than hornet.

I don't need fast chapri bikes, a motorcycle with a good handling, smooth gear shift & most important good mileage and very smooth and comfortable ride.

बिल्कुल सबकी जरूरत एक नहीं होती, बहुत से लोग सिर्फ बढ़िया लुक के लिए भी ले लेते हैं और खडी करके देख-देखकर खुश होते हैं या फिर लेते भी नहीं है बस लुक पसंद कर - करके तारीफ करते रहते हैं। मैंने ली है अभी दो-चार महीने पहले मेरी fz बिकवा दे, पन्नी भी नहीं हटी अभी।

You can try this or Unicorn 160 or Xpulse 200, the sales guy at Yamaha said that it is certified by doctors not sure though. I tried the Xpulse 200 and it had the best suspension I ever tested. I have a Meteor 350 and suffering from Knee/back issues so looking for daily commuter.

I bought the same model Standard Edition V4 Matt Black 2024 model BS6 last month 02 Mar)
Cons -
The bike heats a lot (unbearable heating vibes) even first service done in less than 500 kms , & heating issue still remains. Service Centre people concluded my issue easily saying all new bike heats. Well not all😅, saw 2 other same model during service & even they complained about heating (Even with small 5-6 KMS to & fro ride the bike heats up)
Tested on Highway with moderate speed , the heating remains
The sound of the bike feels more like tappet issue (same for all FZ V4 Bikes) though it's not tappet
Full Fibre body - the Petrol Tank is fully made of fibre & the end part towards the handle has the finishing part which has plastic screws attached to fit the tank, which will easily break, resulting in Tank Gap.
Air Cooled Engine doesn't justify the performance & is the main cause for heating it seems
Pros-
Top Notch Road presence - this model design is just awesome (V4 Matt Black Standard edition) looks very professional
The breaks are just too good even with single channel ABS ( Rear is just Single regular DISC) & not that effective
LED headlamps, the biggest worry for most people , in this bike is just amazing when tested on a road which has total darkness or moderate darkness ( This bike has the best headlight in this segment) & the throw is amazing
Overall performance seems OK to me now as due to heating I'm not using this that much, but if you are OK with the heating issue you can go for it.

Why gear shift indicator and so on and so forth isn't there? Let me answer - Cost. This vehicle competes on value, it does not stand a chance against the apache and pulsars which are loaded. But those who want a proper good 150cc commuter can save nearly 60000 Rs for a little less power and features. Most would want the speed and fuel displayed and and at front as well as a decent suspension, not to mention reliability. No point adding all these gimmicks for the "enthusiasts", it may not help to get more views on RUclips but it's what ppl want..

Muzjhe lagta hai ye log bolte hai power to waight ratio k hisab se power thik hai.. but bhai agar waight kam hoga to bike straight road pe stable bhi nhai rehethi.. actually waight bhi aur powrr bhi chahiye. As i am acepting in 150 cc comparision. And price is high.. matlab 125 cc ka power range aur price matlab round about 160 cc to 200 cc bikes

hornet2.o vs fz v4 which one is better
Hornet overall good but mostly comfortable for driver only. Back seat is very small.
FzV4 Best comfortable for both. Easy to control but a bit less power after 90km/hr
