I think what's fascinating about Ryder and Hawkins is where they vary in how they collect. It feels like Ryder is more of a quantity collector ("I have to have the entire set.") while Hawkins is more about quality. ("These are the pieces that have the most sentimental value to me.") Neither style is right or wrong and there's definitely a lot of crossover but it's cool to see the variety in how they each piece together their collections.
It's every bit awesome as I imagine whenever you guys talk about it on the Pod. You room setup is basically how I envision mine to be one day. Adding the lights to the cabinets is a perfect touch. Thanks for taking us through your personal space, that was really cool to see
BM is such a cool likeable dude. The fact that he is a Mets Fan makes him that much cooler! Not knockin' Matt but Brian seems more chill... Matt is always "on" i feel and seems less genuine, he is the MJ of WFC tho.....
Hi Brian,i was born in 1970,watched wrestling with my dad, loved watching it with him and going to shows here in Vermont with him and years later, with my wife and son. Best to you. Go mets.
That ball park piece that acts as your MLB ballpark check list is cool and a unique way to keep a check list for that. And, I love that pillow of your daughter considering how close you guys are. And, I eventually would like to have display case lighting for my high end sports pieces once I can do that, I like the ambiance idea behind that part.
I'm so curious, how do you (or others with figure collections) keep the figures dust free? It would seem like such a pain to try to dust each figure and not have them all fall over like dominoes.
thanks for showing the items you got from me. I am so glad to see they went to the right person that respects them. sorry all won't tell which items but they are here
So cool! Hawkins, you and I were introduced to wrestling with the same event. I met the Hulkster several years ago and he asked if I was a fan, and I preceded to go on this long rant about WM6. He said "you're hooked Brother"
This was fantastic to see your awesome collection. Congrats on keeping everything in mint condition and on display. I do have a small collection of Wrestling figures among my Star Wars.
Usualmike Television -Toy Showcase come on Mike, you have one of the best Star Wars channels on RUclips! Glad your into wrestling too. Wrestling and Star Wars, both awesome. Love collecting both. Hope all is well.
@@rockcatinc.4814 It's always great to run into one of my fans in the comments section of Major Fig Podcast. I love watching this channel and occasionally collecting the odd wrestling action figure. Have a good day too my friend!
I would use the tv to showcase some ECW moments. Set up a slideshow on a 32 GB flash drive. I think that would make room pop. Otherwise looks great for the small space.
This is awesome to see. My little brother collected a lot of the Wrestling figures in the mid-late 90's, while I was focusing on collecting DBZ, but I loved wrestling with his figures in the official ring he had together with him and his friends... even threw Goku in there occasionally :P I live in Japan and occasionally see the Japanese figures. I collect other lines by Popy, but I'll keep my eye out for the two you are missing man!
So happy for this video. Love seeing people’s collections. Also was going crazy over that back room under stair case in closet. I would’ve made that shit a secret room haha. Move like vintage 12” talking hulk arm and the door opens
What a cool, normal chill dude. I just remember him as Kurk Hawkins on a losing streak becuase thats the only exposure i have had of him. I love how a lot of middle gen of pro wrestlers are really chill. shout out to youtube because I just watched him shoot on the MIZ lol
Friggin Awesome!! Love the Mets collection too. I'm a Fellow NY'er also. I've been a DIE Hard Fan of the Mets since '86 and Jets since '90. And a Big Figure and Card Collector. Always will be too. Thanks for Sharing!
Awesome video, but I think what blew me away the most was that you were one half of the TNA Tag-Team Champions. I have absolutely no memory of that and had to look it up lol.
Sick Collection, I really loved seeing the look inside a wrestlers life...seeing how you looked at your Curt Hawkins cards and figures....thats so awesome. MAkes you appreciate how rare and hard you worked to become what you are.
Wow, Brian, this was amazing to watch. The lay out, the way every figure looks to be placed With love, it looks stunning, Even your closet is very Nice and organized. You are a True collector who respect and love Your Toys, Great video, absolutely loved it!! Big Thanks to you, smart Mark and Zack, you make it a lot easier for a 40 year old man to collect toys and be proud!! Keep the videos coming!! Big Hug from Rainer in Norway!!
Awesome Toy Room! and amazing collection. My bed room kind of looks like that but it's filled with Warhammer mini's and comic books instead of wrestling figures.
Amazing 👌 collection bro..I've been collecting since 1999 when they had bone crushing figures..now it's Awesome what they are doing now..this is motivation for me to keep collecting..🔥🔥🔥 Brian I have a recliner in my toy room as well, that's how you do it man work hard, chill and enjoy brutha!
I enjoyed watching this video and viewing your collection. I'm not a big wrestling action figure collector or anything but I enjoyed playing with them as a kid and I still watch wrestling. I'm also a New York Yankees fan. 😂 But anyways nice room collection and we'll displayed. 👍
This video is incredible and I'm very thankful you shot it for us! Dude, fuck your friends for busting on the painting, that painting is really good. The organization in here is second to none, and I think it's brilliant to have your play room double as your hangout room rather than just a 'cool closet' or something. I don't mean to sound a like a jerk, but I think whenever (or IF ever, lol) Broski's room is clean enough to present, I'll be partial to your collection, Brian. I hear Broski talk about these shirts he'll never wear and stupid teddy bears and water bottles and I just find myself thinking the dumb "why did I buy this" items actually devalue a collection. That's just me, though! Thanks for sharing your room tour. EDIT: Dude... you gotta get the belts on the wall. No, you know what, ignore me. I'm a belt mark. It's your room. Do as you wish. ....PS: Those TNA tag belts were soooooo sick.
Love the toy room reveal. Laughed when you said you bought special risers. You know what works great? Shelves for spice cabinets. You can buy them at most home stores, or order online.
I've recently discovered this channel and I would truly love to discuss figures, belts, and wrestling in general. Also I have to say your section dedicated to yourself should be much bigger, and even more prominent.
That was freaking awesome. I used to own a bunch of those Toy Biz WCW figures. Specifically the ones that came with part of the ring you could put together like that Goldberg. I got them at TRU Times Square. Thanks Brian and Mark, that was awesome. Now when's Broski's happening?
But their not the child’s toys, they belong to Brian/Curt. So the therapist wouldn’t be even to say something if it didn’t belong to the child in the first place. Also the child will have his own toys I’m sure
@Chronic Blues I bet you feel special now. I'm married(20 years, thank you), like Brian. Way to let us know there still are narrow minded people out in the world, 😘
So I work at Citi Field at the gift shops and I was marking out seeing the bobbleheads and what not....until I saw the "EEKZ" Mets figurine in your collection. In the 4 years I have worked there so far, NO ONE has bought one of those figures from any shop I worked at haha. Also, if you're interested, I have an Endy Chavez "Saves the Day" Bobblehead you might be interested in.
; this is just an incredible collection, Brian. Thank you for sharing it with us. My favourite piece in it might have to be the Hayabusa fig 😍😍 I’ve never seen one before and I’m super glad to see Ezaki-san immortalized like that. #RIP
@Zamza How is that a stupid comparison? Comparing a wrestling episode of a documentary series based around the history of toys, and this video of Brian going more in depth to the actual history behind the toys he has? The guy is knowledgeable, I was giving the channel a compliment. Don't think I'm the one who needs to grow up here...
Mannnn I remember seeing that Puzzle Zoo exclusive in a toy mag and wanting it soooo bad. Then crapping my pants when I randomly found it at Hills department store! Such a cool set and my fig fed buddies were so jealous of that gold Razor, lol
Imagine how fun it is in this room if toy story is real.
Id chill with scott hall iron sheik & andre the giant
Idd sell steroids and make a million dollars in that room.
Ha! #underratedcomment

Definitely can see that to
That’s what makes the hobby of collecting so great. Different styles and no right or wrong way to do it.
I've watched this multiple times now and Myers is definitely the best and most down to earth person on the pod. Seems like a great guy and family man
“And this is the further endeavor shelf” Harper, sin cara, and Ambrose in there. Ouch
Where?

*Future*
matt ellis now he has to put himself and a lot of others in there too
Future?
The dramatic reenactment is too accurate haha!
"There's no such thing as a bad collection unless it belongs to Sam Roberts" agreed 👌🏽😂
Finally getting a look at the miscellaneous shelf!
Its a great collection lol

You should show off that shelf of figures of yourself with pride, man! You’ve worked hard and earned that.
Lmao I'd like to imagine Broski does that every hour on the hour when he's home
You two guys are my favorite wrestling personalities. Love your passion for collecting.
Curt hawkins is living the collecter life that we want
Would be interested in seeing the dvd collection you have.
Adam Durling Same here.
Anyone wanna know what DVDs I have?
Shawn Mowers yeah fam, what hidden gems you got?
I also wanted to see his impact wrestling figures in the bin in his closet but oh well
It’s crazy how much detail you put into the room great job keep em coming
We need an updated version! I know youve added stuff since this was uploaded!! Would be so fun to see the progress
That is one amazing collection, Brian! I need one of those signed Mattel Elites in Mets gear,Bro! Fellow worker & collector/Big Fanski.
BM is such a cool likeable dude. The fact that he is a Mets Fan makes him that much cooler! Not knockin' Matt but Brian seems more chill... Matt is always "on" i feel and seems less genuine, he is the MJ of WFC tho.....
That liger is sick. Can’t wait for the black and gold one to come out. I saw him wrestle in that gear front row, live in 2005 in Toronto
Very sweet collectibles. Also a mets fan because of my late best friend. Thanks, brian.

This is amazing!!! Thanks for the tour, Broski!!! I hope to do something similar with my Toy Room one day.
he hit the lights on the cases and my eyes flickered with joy . :)
That was the best half hour I've spent online all week!!
Playroom looks awesome man!!
Keep the vids coming!!
I love videos like this. The broski re-enactment was perfect.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing your space with us!
Man those Japanese old school figures look tight , never knew they existed , I really like the detail on mil mascaras, Great collection man .
I'm so curious, how do you (or others with figure collections) keep the figures dust free? It would seem like such a pain to try to dust each figure and not have them all fall over like dominoes.
greggraffin I have a video on my channel how I keep mine clean 👍
Watching this instead of Charlotte segment
Lol so am i
Hahahahahaha
Charlotte is a DUDE
Mr.SmithGNR Smith Weird comment but okay
The way the Attitude Era figures were positioned reminded me of the 2001 Royal Rumble poster.
thanks for showing the items you got from me. I am so glad to see they went to the right person that respects them. sorry all won't tell which items but they are here
This is awesome, so glad I found this channel. Guess I'll geek out and watch the channel all day. 2SWEET

Curt Hawkins Jr.: He kept my toys locked up and never let me play with them. He's a monster.
