    Was almost out of extract when I fell across this recipe. I’m TM crazy and had various models over the years. OMG! Never imagined making vanilla bean paste - so simple and in a completely different league to extract. Was craving chai latte and made your spice mix with what I had - which is to die for. Love your channel has been a fab friend during lockdown - thank you Sophia xxx

      @Anjalena 4 года назад

      @@aishwaryarosarin8612 Does that degrade the flavor over time or? It's weird cuz with extract, the longer it ages, the better it is. Doesn't matter. Vanilla beans are through the roof price-wise. 4-5 yrs ago, I could get a 10-pk of food quality beans for less than $15. But I checked at The Natural Living Center yesterday and the beans they had were $5 EACH! Way way too rich for my blood.

    Two questions:
    1. Do you have to have that machine to make it or does it just make the process quicker and neater?
    2. Sub for glucose in the US? Corn syrup?
    3. Is there any ingredient in it that will cause it to go bad over time? (Beans, water, sugar, and glucose) I know extract doesn't seem to go bad but maybe that's cuz of the alcohol?
    What? I said *two* questions, you say?
    "Yes. I lied. I'm a bad person. Let's move on."
