The Return of the Doomsday Machine. The USS Enterprise D battles the Doomsday Machine while rescuing the USS Constellation Donation Link: www.paypal.me/...
I always thought they missed an opportunity by leaving that thing where they gutted it . IMO they should have drug it back to a research station and try to at least reverse engineer the armor plating of that thing . Good to see a new video , you do a good job .
Star date 2021.109 The Enterprise and her crew have stumbled upon a fascinating new discovery that is sure to be anything but the standard, run of the mill mission.
I like the video but personally I can see this as more of a DS9 episode. Sisko and the crew get a distress signal from a Bajoran joint federation science ship. Upon entering the Gamma Quadrant they encounter the planet killer. They detrimine it is on course for the wormhole. The Federation captain of the wrecked science vessel relieves Worf of command of the Defiant and attacks the planet killer while Sisko and O'Brien get the science vessel online to draw away the planet killer. Worf relieves the mentally unhinged captain who steals a shuttle and tries to kamikazes it into the planet killer the Defiant beams him back last second. Remembering how Kirk dealt with the planet killer Sisko decides to fly the damaged science vessel into the planet killer. The captain of the science vessel escapes and beams over and forces Sisko and O'Brien at phaser point to beam back to the defiant and successfully kamikazes the planet killer destroying it.
Neither this video or the original episode explained what happened to the 'DDM' once it was deactivated. I've often wondered if it had a failsafe built-in and after a certain period of time, the matter conversion power plant reignited, allowing the DDM to continue its rampage through the galaxy, albeit on the course it was aimed when the devil's fire at its core was extinguished by a makeshift 97.835 MT fusion 'warhead'.
Hi Rob. I love your videos and designs. I don't suppose you have any tips on modelling the engineering hull of the D? I just cannot get it right. Also, did you take down your modelling tutorials on your other channel? I was really enjoying your NX style Connie
Yes I took that channel down and am still thinking about doing the same with this one. All the rules and fines the gov. is doing, just one complaint and I would be finished. I do worry about this stuff. I am not monitized because I us a lot of Trek music, and the company that has destroyed Trek profits from my work. I just do it for fun!
Cool, personally would have loved red glowing eyes and maybe those; pod like things being testicles.. How about it not being dead, but injured and it self repairs adds eyes and coomes back!
The classic music is perfect. Just dramatic and over the top enough to make you feel the tension

I have missed your videos. So happy when I check my feed only to see that one of your masterpieces have been uploaded.
Live long and prosper 🖖
Thanks!
@@MrRmcconnell Hey Rob, Loved this TNG version of the The Doomsday Machine. Don't keep us waiting to long for the next video.
A fitting tribute to the TOS episode The Doomsday Machine. Well done. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Star date 2021.109

this Doomsday Machine is much creepier than the TOS version.
This was kill we need more it's great that you changed it up. Great job
Oh no, no, no- *DEJA VU! I'VE JUST BEEN THIS PLACE BEFORE, HIGHER ON THE STREET! I KNOW IT'S MY TIME TO GO!*
Sorry.
Now that was a very interesting twist on Star Trek: TOS "The Doomeday Machine".
Ramming the ship down it's throat just like in the T.O.S. sires, think of as intergalactic heartburn.
Nice adding the Doomsday machine to the 24th century
the thing has upgraded! the doomsday machine now has tentacles!

Well done. I definitely enjoyed the video.
🖖😎👍very cool and very nicely done indeed 👌
I just watched this. Very cool. Nicely done. Interesting redesign of the Doomsday Machine!
Much closer to what was envisioned in the original script.
Well I'll be. A Modern Doomsday Machine, my favorite episode
this would be a great episode on the TNG a great sequel
The planet killer is creepy... I love it
Seems to be in Squish-o-vision. But that is a lovely Galaxy Class!
Great homage to the Doomsdat machine! :) Again though I feel like its the Mirror Universe.
A little late to the party on this one. This is great! 😀
A re-imaging of Doomsday Machine!
This is kinda how it was supposed to look, but due to budget Roddenberry had it made out of a windsock and concrete...lol. Now that is creative
Wow! really loved this. Art!
simply brilliant
This was awesome! Another excellent job! (13 May 2019 1552 hours)
I like it! As a fellow Blender artist and VFX artist though, I do see a lot of room for improvement. :)
i remember there was an enterprise D deja vu meme somewhere.
ah! Another vid!
*back to Minecraft*
Now go drop that thing into the nearest singularity or neutron star.
That planet killer looked like it was smoking a cigarette after sex...
When it's good it's good...lol

I just subscribed to your channel. Good work! I think of myself as a "closet trekkie"
Thank you!
Do some more please!!!!!😯😯😍😍😊😁😁😁👽⭐
So... Who was in the 'Commodore Decker' spot this time?...

@@MrRmcconnell That would be a real shame, you do fantastic work, and I was learning a lot from you! I understand though
Why did you not have the Enterprise D separate its saucer to get the families out of the way before the battle against the Doomsday machine?
The Enterprise D had too little time. and besides the Doomsday would likely target and destroy the saucer section.
Well the graphics look a bit outdated... Quite good but i recommend to use cycles
do uss belknap......tos to refit
Phasers dont trend to be used to strafe like that. The impact point is stationary and the angle is updated as the ships move relative to eachother
Friggin' AWESOME!! :)
Love your work sir! :)

Re: "Donations are non-refundable." Who would ask for a refund on a donation?
Amazing
AWESOME !
Great to see you back!!
