In Algeria people is so friendly , they will never see you as tourist but as somebody of theme , prices you pay will the same as every one .
You don't seem to be the adventurous kind. But welcome to Algeria. You should go downtown. Don't be afraid, nothing will happen to you. It is like any city in the world.
I think he needs some guidance from people who are fluent in English because Algeria is unfortunately an unknown destination for many people

In Algiers you can visit : Casbah of Algiers (Built in the 9th century by the Zirids Dynasty using Algerian Islamic zirids architecture) the ones who ruled and bulit Granda in Andalous, also Casbah of Deles In boumrdes also bulit by the the zirids , Hamma Garden , Bardo Museum, Rias Lbahr castle

I agree. Malls, zara, cafes are not representing our Algerian heritage. This can be found in all over the world. He is not showing anything. Also he seems to live a pretty decent expat life in Algeria. Going to fancy neighborhoods, not really getting into the real local life.

People just don't understand we don't want that. On social medias, it seems that Algeria brings them more likes hence more subscribers...because this is still an unknown destination so they get privilege on that fact and get more views. But what are they showing really? Zara, malls, cafes? To show to the world Algeria is not starving and have also cafes?! That's so pathetic! We don't need that "full eyes on us"!
