@@RinSyuveil It's a placeholder NPC for when the sub isn't in use by the selected player. Just a way for the game to say, "this character is here/going here/doing this thing".

He had 8 bullet holes in his back, was blinking and was waist deep in the sub. I think he was a ghost and Matt's sub was haunted.
I would totally watch a series of Achievement Hunter outtakes from their videos.

It’s like that video of the guy standing on the back of a boat and a second guy runs up and tried to drag him into the water as he jumps past, only to fail and not drag him in.

Jeremy wanted to buy the sub for the heist , but then told matt to buy it as he can't get it in purple and orange . I believe it is in the first part of the heist
Easy solution to the color issue: get two submarines, one orange and one purple, and call them the Subma-Rim and the Subma-Tim.

All of those near misses and then the one that actually got him was nowhere near him. It was just the game giving in and being like "these guys aren't going to hit him without my help, huh?"

The de-sync on the missiles is CRAZY. The fact that Michael got hit by 3 different missiles and didn't go down, but Myatt blowing up on the building underneath Michael from about 30 feet below was what killed him... It really does seem that direct hits just don't work on targets that are moving or airborne, idk.

I think the missiles are hitting Michael but his Oppressor's flying too quickly for the explosion to actually catch him.
Maybe the missles are hitting his rear wings giving him enough space
Which is weird because the mussels are faster than the oppressor while in the air
in the first airport fuckaround they did this in, that happened to the planes too. the explosion happens at a location before the impact site, so often times a missile colliding with a moving thing in the air will result in no dmg for the flying object.

Just want to note that the missiles will explode in another missile's vapor trail. So, knowing that, there's a good chance that directly trying to hit the oppressor with a missile would be extremely hard due to how big the hit box is on the oppressor's vapor trail. Remember how easy it is to set yourself on fire if you barrel roll or do a loop around? If that isn't the answer... well... it's GTA online and we know how problematic that is on it's own. But, none of that matters because this video was fun to watch, regardless. Thanks for the hard work you guys all put in and thanks for the free content. Be well, be safe, and stay healthy.

For those wondering why the missiles blew up but Michael didn't: for some unexplainable reason Rockstar decided to register damage on the client side of the game. For those unfamiliar with game development: that means that when a bullet hits you, it is your pc, and not the server, registering this and telling the server that you died. Jack's pc updates his frames at 60 fps and therefor clearly registers that he hit Michael, and tells this to the server. Michael's pc, on the other hand, updates Jack's missile's movement at a ridiculousy low fps, so as far as Michael's pc is concerned the rocket was at one point to the left of Michael, at some point to his right, but the pc never registered a collison because that happend between 2 position updates. Therefor Michael's pc does not tell the server that Michael died, despite Jack's pc having clearly registered a collison.
It must be that the actual explosion of the missile is what makes the vehicle explode, not the impact. Like, the impact itself doesnt cause the vehicle to explode, but it does cause the missile to explode, and the vehicle only explodes when it's near the missile explosion but because it gets away so fast from it, it survives. Gotta love GTA physics

These missile games... there's a lot to do.
- Stunt jumps over missiles
- Missile Defense Force - Oppressors try to shoot down missiles, while missiles are shooting between two subs who wish to sink each other.
- Subroutines - Gavin gets mugged, and the mugger takes a plane. The missile operators then must destroy the mugger.
- Cargobobombs - Two teams of cargobobs, and occupied ground vehicles *With Gunner Seats* in tow, race to Chilead in order to deposit the vehicles at the top. The ground vehicles then race back to the airport, take jets, and try to sink the sub. All of this while the sub operator attempts to destroy all all players on both teams. If a team gets there and back and blows up the sub, they win. If the sub kills all racing players, the sub wins. Players *in gunner seats* can use upnatomizers on each other. Unless that got patched.
This one was kind of really fun to watch.
I know Alfredo can be quiet sometimes but it’s way to familiar like when Ray was quiet.
But there’s a key difference, Fredo is still having fun in every video he is in, while Ray hated every video he was in that wasn’t a one off. Also Fredo’s voice is lower than pretty much every other member of AH to begin with.
Hembro Hero is going to have a whole episode based on “Bottle o water.”

All right, I think I understand what happened with Michael near the end.
You see, it's a little known piece of AH lore that Michael actually possesses the Stand power known as King Crimson. Every time a missile hit him, he activated his Stand power on instinct. Thus, he skipped over the missile's explosion, leaving him unharmed but the missile destroyed. The reason this didn't work on Matt is because Michael thinks so lowly of him, his defensive mechanisms refused to see Matt as a threat and did not activate King Crimson, netting Matt the win.
I assume the bottle of water will become an ah animated.

"Die Another Day" was my first Bond movie. I saw it in the theatre with my Dad, Uncle, and older Cousins when I was 9. Their family must've been visiting for Thanksgiving 2002 around November 28th shortly after the movie was released on Nov 22nd. I liked the music, gadgets, and especially the "Icarus" satellite weapon.

Well given that they make video content about having fun and messing around, the MK2 just isn't "fun" in the ways they're looking for. If they were looking for agile destructive force, the MK2 would be perfect. Given that, it's no wonder they consider it as being "shit", just look at how much fun they had when the MK1 came out, if they expected that, you can't really blame them for being disappointed at the MK2.

30:32 - This is probably some of the best Dri-loting that I've seen. Michael's like, "I haven't flown this thing in forever, I'm going to smash my ass." then immediately performs an irresponsibly impressive drop to reset the boost, then hops over onto a guard rail for about 10 feet, then pops right off and... gets got. Anybody else would've eaten shit immediately.

Not at all in a negative way, but their videos have felt a lot more casual again lately. Hearing them talk about more content outside of rooster teeth, which is something they didn't do very much in the past. Much more casual conversation thats not purely related to the game or just running in-jokes. Its hard to explain but it feels like their really enjoying themselves again

For the oppressor part with Gavin I almost wish someone was in their house spectating him on their tv so get some good angles of the missiles barely missing him.

Here's a fun fact about the guided-missile if you press exit button when you're near someone it explodes you could crash it I as you did in the video or exit either way it's so has an explosion
