Oh, I like the look of this, very much.
This really gives me hope that Nelson/Zondervan/HarperCollins is listening to us who are concerned about Bibles being printed in China and are starting to shift printing out of China and to countries where Christians are not being sent to jail for simply practicing their faith. I think this current run of Thompson Bibles are most likely being printed in Kirkbride’s old facility, but this NET makes it look like Nelson/HCC signed a contract with a South Korean printer and hopefully many more editions will be printed there going forward.
Their approach worked for me, just ordered the blue. Great review as always Tim.
What a nice little Bible! Mine just came in the mail yesterday :)
So happy to see that Nelson and Zondervan are starting to print at least some of their Bibles outside of China, this one and the Thompsons are printed in free countries. Good to see. I hope this trend continues.
This MAY just be the needle in the haystack I've been looking for. My criteria: modern translation (so, sorry, but not KJV).... large print.....thinline....and WITH BOOK INTRODUCTIONS. That last thing, having a book introduction--even if brief--is important to me, but that has been the deal killer on every other large print thinline/slimline I can find. Would love to pro/con this bible with others that meet criteria, but I don't think there are ANY others. Thanks for the vid!!
I got the brown cover because in the blue the lamb is not as noticeable.
I'd like to see a synthetic cover with a synthetic paste down too. I think that would last longer. I think bonded leather has been replaced with better synthetic covers
They used to use a vinyl paste down liner. But the paper is okay. When it starts to tear just reinforce it with a piece of heavy duty tape, and it’ll be good for a good while.
Can You Please provide a KJV Bible for me. I can't afford to buy it. But I'm very thirsty to read it. From India.
Can you provide your name and a mailing address and I will gladly send you a KJV Bible, do you read English? You can email me this information at kom2bank.k2b@gmail.com. Blessings to you.🤗

Interesting but not a bible I would purchase at this time.
I am not familiar with the NET. How is it translated in relationship to ‘literal’?
From what I have read on Got Questions, the NET is more of a thought for thought, like the NIV. I think I will pass on this Bible for that reason. I do love the cover though.
Your right that’s a thought for thought translation. What’s cool though ( not this version) the NET has a version that has all the translation notes .
I mean a ton of notes . Sometimes the notes make up to 80% of the page . I have a few friends that can read New Testament Greek and they recommend that one for just the notes .
Just a suggestion.
Blessings
@@BillWalkerWarren The MacArthur study Bible has 20,000 study notes. It is available in several translations…word for word… plus also have it available in an app as well. :-)
How very cool that some of your friends can read NT Greek! Wow!
@@BillWalkerWarren I might just get the edition with the full notes. Thanks! Blessings to you too!
