i play him a lot these days. you need more move speed, celerity runes, swifites, ghost, and suddenly you become a scary monster who can chase almost anyone. you don' t need rocketbelt with this set up you go directly rabaddon or magic pen . if you feel you stuggle to survive after going in with w , buy jackshow. Heartsteal is a must have for the scaling obviously but also scale your range Q.

This is a good video to inspire some theory crafting. I think Tahm has a lot of great itemization options. I've not tried riftmaker yet, but now reading about his AP ratios I am brewing a new build. So far I'm on Heartsteal -> Riftmaker -> Titanic or Hollow Radiance -> Spirit Visage (if no Hollow) or Unending despair -> Jaksho
Which resistances to prioritize obviously depends on the enemy comp, but I like the combination of insane damage and tankiness that you can get to with some of these builds. I also think you should max E second when playing Tham top, because it gives way more value

29:00 YOu forgot the 400 Damage form his passiv. Thats why the tongue deals so much dmg. It also uses the Passiv ddmg, which now scales with AP too. Meaning buyng 1k Health makes the Q have a 120% AP scaling.

with the new item changes riftmaker->warmogs->full ap might be a decent build path depending on the game. scaling not as strong but may be better for splitting and rotating with the warmogs speed passive.

@tczwag I Recommended a build very similar to this not long ago. Try this again, but with Lethal tempo, Heartsteel-Titanic-Rift. His auto attacks scale with ap/hp from his passive and then the titanic hits super hard as well. Its super good. Also stacks up the passive on enemies very fast for that nice stacked q stun.
Karthus with roa heals during his e so he can always heal it’s not a lot but can be boosted with spirit and the rune on the tank page

I play against Sion with it and won big but i think it would be better against nasus since you can stun him if he tries to w to you

-And maybe a randuins for team fights
You can of course do whatever items you want in whatever order. I just played it a couple times and it was really fun even tho it's a funny dumb build!!! :)

Situational items (pick some): Rod of Ages, Rylai's, Cosmic Drive, Frozen Heart, Abbysal Mask, Spirit Visage, Force of Nature, Kaenic, Jak'Sho, Warmog's
Primary runes: Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth OR standard Conqueror.
Secondary runes: Manaflow, Gathering Storm OR Presence of mind, Last stand.
Extra facts:
You want Archangel's first, because Cass is so mana hungry.
Gauntlet might work, because with E you'll proc it often.
Heartsteel will easily proc because you're ranged and fast. For the same reason Rylai's will be excellent for kiting, just like bruiser Ashe.
Spirit Visage synergizes with your E healing and Seraph's shielding.

I greatly prefer Ionian Boots on TK. He's so ability-driven, he does nothing and can't even defend himself when his abilities are on cooldown. Other boots always feel so much weaker.

I agree with you, but to play devils advocate, yones ability doesn't do %hp damage, while applying a passive for more %hp damage.

On the other hand, Ornn's shields are much more valuable than Yone's because he scales much harder with defensive stats (Armor and MR). So any shield he gets is much stronger than it is on Yone, even if the swordsman chooses to build tank items.
