The Lew's skeleton reel will grab the line and wrap it up good in the bale. I've had that problem before but is a thing even worse with thinner 6 lbs monofilament line gets better with thicker 12 lbs monofilament line.
I mentioned it in another video but I've been getting back into watching fishing and came back to ur channel and you've jump started the motor for me wanting to fish again after 2 yrs of not throwing a single lure. I've busted the gear out n lined the reels and tied on lures to hit the water. Thanks Lojo 👍🏼
Don't know anything about that zebco but I've used the other two. I used that lews reel on crappie set up, it felt great but didn't hold up long the drag got super finicky pretty quick and the spring that operates the bell broke. That shimano on the other hand has held up great for me, ive used it for over a year. I think that shimano is a really good budget reel.
I have an old Shimano FX400I've had 30 years. Still works flawlessly. Older design, no instant antireverse, and heavy, so I don't use it anymore, but it served for decades with zero issues.
I'm using an older spinner too, but from Okuma..... thing just keeps going for years, lol and it is still smooth as silk. They don't build stuff now the same honest
I use the Shimano fx 4000 reel and I don't mind it for what it is. Pretty reliable and I only had to replace it once because I fell up a clay bank. Excited to see if you like it
I might be wrong but I think its not fo 10$ its gonna be like 50$ like the one above it and the sign says save 10$ so its actually like 40$. But idk man
I personally have the lews Mr.trout, been using it on my 6’ medium light rod for a little while now and I absolutely love it, even got a solid 4 pounder on it.
It's crazy to see the variety Lews makes, I have a $300 Lews Custom Lite Speed Spool, and 3 $170 Tournament XP's. I can now say I have seen a $20 Lews reel and a $500 Lews reel.
Well that confirms all the reviews saying how easy the googan rods break, and the ease how how lojo broke the rest of that tip to make it usable..... snapped like a twig.
Idk I have had 3 Googan Green Series rods for 4 years now, I bought a Go-To, Reaction, and a Twitch casting rod on the first run that was released. So far, I have had zero issues with the Googan Green baitcasting rods that were not due to user error. One has a broken eyelet (currently at the tackle shop getting repaired) but that was 100% my fault, not the fault of the rod. 🤷♂️ just my personal experience with Googan rods.
Haha, i use to have a little paddle boat like those when i was younger. They're great if you fish in small ponds or lakes but anything bigger or anything with current is going to give you a major workout. Use to take mine to the local Creek and float down to the deeper holes you couldn't get to by wading. It was always a blast until trying to get back upstream, the current would push the boat just as fast as you could paddle it in spot effectively meaning you would sit in place paddling to no avail. All in all it was a lot of fun though and i could definitely recommend them for someone who wanted one!
Man I love cheap combos they have always worked the best for me I have the $10 walmart combo I've had for 7 or 8 years took very good care of it still works perfectly amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one
I literally just bought the Ozark Trail telescoping combo with baits, can't wait to try it out since there is a resaca running through my school campus. Wanted a quick setup.
My money is on the shimano. Own the Zebco stinger and recently bought the shimano fx4000 awesome reel super smooth, best with braid, sad to see you had issues reeling the line. Mine has been super smooth, used as a catfish and bass reel
I have 2 of those Shimano 2500 's ...yes they are cheap but they are great reels...I fish lake Okeechobee at least 5 days a week, and have regularly caught 5lb plus bass and catfish...the 20 dollar Shimano 2500 s have never let me down, after 2 years they still perform flawless
As someone who is usually stuck using the cheapest gear, it's nice to see those items working. I've never fished with a real that cost more than $50, so with that, most reals are "nice" in my eyes
Lojo My Guy Back At It Again My Man Love Watching Your Videos Brother Keep Em Coming. An The Reels I Would Love To Have One From You Id Keep It As A Souvenir Forever!
I think it would be cool to try a cane pole for sight fishing. I have one thats 13 feet with 15 feet of line so you can get some distance and they make longer ones cane poles too.
Lojo please go tarpon fishing before letting go of ole greeny!!! Trust me you’ll love it the jumps and feeling is indescribable. It’ll also make a great video 😉😁
I bought a Mr Trout at Dicks years ago and put it on a little Shimano rod. My wife wanted a small combo. It's barely been used. It feels great. I'm gonna try using it . Maybe on some bluegill. I lost a nice Rainbow on a setup like that before. It was too much for it.😅
I bought the Zebco Stinger in 2 different sizes, and they both got bad wind knots with the pre-spooled line. Couldn't get it to stop until I took the line off.
Dont sleep on the zebco spinning reels. They are my go-to. Also, their customer service is in Oklahoma and are great. My wife took the reel brake knob off one of my reels and dropped it in the lake "by accident", I contacted their customer support to see if i can buy another knob and they sent me a replacement reel and the shipping to send the other one back.
(That'd be a cute little boat for your back yard.) This was going to be an interesting video from the get go. Shows that maybe a minimum of $50 should be spent. Heck... for $60, you can get a Daiwa Regal LT. Best bang for your buck that I know of. ...That Wind "Nest" on the Zebco is why I started using braid as backing on ALL my spinning reels. Then to see it happen again later. Reminded me of trips I had when I was in my 30's. (42 - 30years ago fishing time) Don't think I'll ever go back to straight mono. Don't think that the wind knots were the fault of the reels per say. It's the old mono memory problem. 1/3 mono, double uni to braid, mono or flouro leader. Been working great for over a year now. The Lew's would have functioned better with 10 lb. or 8 lb. 12 is where you start getting into a LOT of wind know issues with lighter lures. ...Test wise, to be fair, I think your reels should have been on lighter action rods, except for the Shimano 2500. From my experience, go with a minimum of the Regal LT series by Daiwa. I slowly upgraded from there. That said, I am mostly an ultra lite fisherman when it comes to Spinning. LOVE it! Thanks for sharing! Good video.
Hey LoJo, what if you could give some tips for someone coming to visit Alabama and wants to fish Lake Guntersville. Give some tips for an out of towner coming down to fish. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
LOJO...read the packages!!! I really seeth when you ask questions while videoing yourself asking questions of your viewers when your an adult and don't spend the time to read the package, your viewers deserve more. I worked at Dick's for years after a construction accident prevented me from going back to construction, also a veteran...I always believe that there is no such thing as a "stupid question " except the one not asked ! Shimano FX series is a bushing reel, no bearings and can bind up after some use or under a load ...Shimano typically uses the best kind of bearings in all reels, always check the screws on your reels cause they come loose. Love your videos but I'm a little OCD about things, sorry if I'm over the top....keep fishing but please do a little homework for what you're looking for before you go, also how you use spinning reels and with what king of lures can twist up the line bad especially if you don't Close the bail by hand (not cranking the handle) and pull the line tight to the reel by hand or rod to have no loose line when you start to turn the handle. Jerk baits twitch baits or light weight lures will help create little tension or allow twist in your line and make wind knots more of a problem. I've learned the hard way about cheap gear , Good luck !
You guys hit the like goal!! Here's the paddle boat video...as promised 😂 ruclips.net/video/e0IlNyK5H98/видео.html
The Lew's skeleton reel will grab the line and wrap it up good in the bale. I've had that problem before but is a thing even worse with thinner 6 lbs monofilament line gets better with thicker 12 lbs monofilament line.
I’ll give all of these reels away if anybody wants them 🤷♂️ I’ll pick 3 random subscribers who comment below 🫡
I’d love em!
I want em
Don't buy that paddle boat, get the bass pro one. It has a canopy.
Want the Shimano
All my reals are terrible
I mentioned it in another video but I've been getting back into watching fishing and came back to ur channel and you've jump started the motor for me wanting to fish again after 2 yrs of not throwing a single lure. That paddle boat will be a great video but also probably very fun to have for the backyard pond
Got my first wacky rig bass yesterday. I'm a little behind...but making progress!
Good deal. I caught some dinks at my buddies pond today on a wacky Yamamoto. Lost about a three pounder when it jumped.
Heck yeah dude, wacky rigging is a fun way to catch em!!
I mostly fish a wacky it dang sure attracts them
So much fun after a long day of work to sit down and watch some Lojo 😎
Fr bro
1:43 ill be waitin on that boat vid
Cheapest reel? Lojos hand line..😂😂 😂
😂 good point!!
I use the Shimano fx 4000 reel and I don't mind it for what it is. Pretty reliable and I only had to replace it once because I fell up a clay bank. Excited to see if you like it
So we just skipping over the 10 dollar okumah spinning reel then at the 4.52 mark in the bottom right corner with the big on sale sign 🤔
That what I'm saying....
Dude…I must be blind 😂
I might be wrong but I think its not fo 10$ its gonna be like 50$ like the one above it and the sign says save 10$ so its actually like 40$. But idk man
Walmart also has the combo rod reel rack. There's usually a 10ish dollar poverty combo. Lol
It says “SAVE $10” not it’s $10
I personally have the lews Mr.trout, been using it on my 6’ medium light rod for a little while now and I absolutely love it, even got a solid 4 pounder on it.
Love the videos always look forward to seeing them after a long day of work

Buy the paddle boat Lojo I would love to see you and Andrew in that thing!!! 😂😂
he did it
The fact you are willing to give without thought of reward, makes you human.❤
You are a great guy Lojo. Keep up the great work brother! You should add Yeshua to your content. Use your platform to preach the Gospel ! ✝️✝️✝️🙏🏼
Would make me like this channel even more
25:56 my 80s ryobi reel I got for free was doing that till I took it apart and greased it and adjusted the drag. Smooth as butter now 😎
Well that confirms all the reviews saying how easy the googan rods break, and the ease how how lojo broke the rest of that tip to make it usable..... snapped like a twig.
Honestly 😬
Ok
Idk I have had 3 Googan Green Series rods for 4 years now, I bought a Go-To, Reaction, and a Twitch casting rod on the first run that was released.

Love the videos bro much love, kinda crazy that academy still has a 2020 model Stradic 4000. Should have bought it for the video
My money is on the shimano. Own the Zebco stinger and recently bought the shimano fx4000 awesome reel super smooth, best with braid, sad to see you had issues reeling the line. Mine has been super smooth, used as a catfish and bass reel
It woduo be amazing to have a new spinning feel from you.
Awesome video LOJO .. Stay safe and Keep’em coming 👍👍👍👍👍
keep up the grind LOJO, amazing content always!
The shimano fx 2500hg is a great reel. It has a smooth drag and it even has a 6.2.1 gear ratio. Can’t go wrong with the shimano
I’m going to buy it right now
15:00 Says the person that needs to have the “clicks” on the baitcasters drag. CALLING YOU OUT!! 😂😂😂. Keeping you honest 🤣
Aye lojo. Been watching you for awhile now and I decided to try the googan buzz bait. Got my first top water bass with it !
As someone who is usually stuck using the cheapest gear, it's nice to see those items working. I've never fished with a real that cost more than $50, so with that, most reals are "nice" in my eyes
I think 12lb line might have been a bit much and part of the casting problems on that little Lew’s reel. But who knows?🤷♂️ good video
Another great video Lojo. Thank you.
That lil trout reel from lews is great. Had mine for years & I’ve caught about every species in Georgia on it 😂🤘🏻
I’ve heard of that Shimano reel from Walmart is good
I've used the Zebco Stinger before. It's all you need for pan fishing.
Awesome video man keep up the great work
I'll be honored to use any fishing equipment that has been in the presence of let alone used by King Lojo himself.
My favorite RUclipsr I’m trying to start my channel again
Bro, that was the fish save of THE YEAR on the Zebco. Hell Yeah!!
Nice fish save👍
Lojo I was told the amount of line causes those wind knots, I’m not sure but the fuller the spool the better the line goes out and comes in
Come to Amity, Arkansas. Wade fish the Caddo river, two miles downstream is a bridge, 2 miles past that is a boat ramp and the start of Lake Degray
Lojo My Guy Back At It Again My Man Love Watching Your Videos Brother Keep Em Coming. An The Reels I Would Love To Have One From You Id Keep It As A Souvenir Forever!
Need to try that Colorado pontoon boat from classic accessories....sold in bass pro maybe they will send u one
Set up the wacky with the new pink pinner worm yesterday and absolutely killed it!
Can't wait to see the boat fishing video
5:37 lojo attached some of the guns he used in the army to his shoulders before he left
A beautiful moment saving that bass from suffering!
Need to see the paddle boat vid, I fished from one of those in high school a bunch 😂
I have quite a few rods that I put those cheap quantum baitcasters. they do well for the money.
I think it would be cool to try a cane pole for sight fishing. I have one thats 13 feet with 15 feet of line so you can get some distance and they make longer ones cane poles too.
We fish out of paddle boats in SoCal lakes....would be funny to see you and Andrew fishing out of that in your pond.
Shoutout Lojo man!! Black buffalo helped me kick nicotine
Would love a shot at one of those reels. Also awesome videos man doing good.
Lojo please go tarpon fishing before letting go of ole greeny!!! Trust me you’ll love it the jumps and feeling is indescribable. It’ll also make a great video 😉😁
Awesome vid as always 😁
I would like the reels! Just started fishing!
😂 ARE YOU SUPERMAN?😂
I can't see an inch into the water 😂.
I would love to see more kayak videos
I bought a Mr Trout at Dicks years ago and put it on a little Shimano rod. My wife wanted a small combo. It's barely been used. It feels great. I'm gonna try using it . Maybe on some bluegill. I lost a nice Rainbow on a setup like that before. It was too much for it.😅
I love you doing the cheapest reels.
I have that first zebco except rly big bought it on vacation in FL its great
Yes Uncle Lojo dropping fire 🔥
I'm actually using the Shimano FX on saltwater.. it's great as for the price. Ok for beginner
I bought the Zebco Stinger in 2 different sizes, and they both got bad wind knots with the pre-spooled line. Couldn't get it to stop until I took the line off.
Paddle boat Paddle boat Paddle boat lol
I love the dangle dart in the rivers in my town bass, crappie, bluegill all day
That's actually a great one man boat!!! Sit in the middle! Totally stable! You can stand up! I fly fished from one no problem!!!
Dont sleep on the zebco spinning reels. They are my go-to. Also, their customer service is in Oklahoma and are great. Lesss goooo. I have the paddle boat. Works well if you stand too

😂 Lojo, it says “please remove the label before filling the spool with line” 😆
Hey LoJo, what if you could give some tips for someone coming to visit Alabama and wants to fish Lake Guntersville. Give some tips for an out of towner coming down to fish. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
The handline bass catch was wild, what was down it's throat? A soft plastic?
LOJO...read the packages!!!
I really seeth when you ask questions while videoing yourself asking questions of your viewers when your an adult and don't spend the time to read the package, your viewers deserve more.

Got 12 00 temu reel on one my poles and honestly love it no issues and very smooth after 6 months. Lol
