Pawandeep and Aruniti gave some of the most memorable duet songs on II 12. I greatly enjoyed seeing HR brought to tears by their singing. HR, just like me, seemed to be very nostalgic of the "golden years" of Hindi songs. I stopped following newer Bollywood singers after the death of KK, and specially after I left Nepal. I feel it rather strange that Pawandeep and Aruniti songs (both solo and duets) drew me to appreciate newer (to me at least as I have never heard them before) Hindi songs like "Channa Mereya" and "Abhi Mujhme Abhi". This song, theme wise different from the two songs I mention here, is completely engaging and enjoyable to sing along. Aruniti and Pawandeep have never failed to delight me and continue to do so post-II 12. This "Dynamic Duo" must return to Canada for a concert, and if that has HR as part of the entourage then it would be "soon ma sugandha", as they say in Nepali.

HR, just like me, seemed to be very nostalgic of the "golden years" of Hindi songs. I stopped following newer Bollywood singers after the death of KK, and specially after I left Nepal. I feel it rather strange that Pawandeep and Aruniti songs (both solo and duets) drew me to appreciate newer (to me at least as I have never heard them before) Hindi songs like "Channa Mereya" and "Abhi Mujhme Abhi". This song, theme wise different from the two songs I mention here, is completely engaging and enjoyable to sing along. Aruniti and Pawandeep have never failed to delight me and continue to do so post-II 12. This "Dynamic Duo" must return to Canada for a concert, and if that has HR as part of the entourage then it would be "soon ma sugandha", as they say in Nepali.
