We have plans...different things for each volume...that will be neat!

Do those light chaser boards burn out on their own or just when the rope shorts out?
the original one always did (without the three transistors on it). Data East made an update wththree regular transistors that can easily be changed if the rope goes bad. Hook uses the same board
@@tntamusements Thank You. I bought a new board but still no lights. I guess the lights have a short. I found a helpful article on Pinside how to check and repair.
the chaser lights do short...and no one has made a replacement yet...blue for star trek and red for hook

Have you guys ever had an Exidy "Star Fire" game in the shop? Would love to see one on the inside and the refurbishing process.
Had only a couple years and years ago..I remember the most striking thing about it, there was a real TV set strapped down inside, including the channel selector (masked off from the front!)

I remembered the laundromat had a small room with a pinball game. The flipper rubbers were in bad shape. Now they have video games for people to play while waiting on thier laundry to get done. we're
the rubbers are the first wear point, but you can "roll" them as they wear and get tons of life from them
How much do you charge for putting a button battery on a Bally escape from the lost world circuit board? It's in the backbox on the upper right, but you already knew that :)

We will have ten pinball volumes...however, we may start a video game series at same time as the pinball volumes...we want to get a couple of these pinball books out first.

just curious when blaring the sound from these games, how much on the dial are you turned up 75%? 80%, only half? serious question cause they are quite loud and can tell from your voice talking
there is no dial...just a post you turn one way or the other
so how many turns then? 2 full turns?
the control turns about 300 degrees...so there is never any full turns at all
gotcha chief, so you go right under the 300 degree mark..almost near max?
17:45 Thats exactly what made the Data East games so bad: yes, it tells you what to do: shoot the transporter in X seconds... but it does not show you anything at all during that phase. Not even your score or anything. Same thing as with Hook and many other games. Williams usually displayed the score in some way even in timed things (or had shorter animations).
Plus the music always sounds the same in these Data East early 90 times. Always same fast rhythm and cheap music production, just tempo tempo tempo. No love has been put into the music of these machines.
But the backglass effect is extremely cool on this machine. I also wonder why it was never done again.

Hihi ok :-) but you understand what i mean with all sounding the same with same rhythm and speed? Conpared to the soundtracks Williams did at that time where every game had its own mood and theme also musically ;-)
Yes...the same beat...the music is supposed to stir you up and keep you moving as the ball moves around. But When I think of other great Data East scores, Torpedo Alley, Laser War, Phantom, Time Machine....they are all so good.....

How was vacation. Might have to insert Star Wars guns from the look of the other vids :P bring out the old Tammy er Leia er oh look a mop :) I just know Entertainment and laughter sells , I swear no more nerf but if TNT loses 100 of them , I'd assume they were used for packing material :P (do they really glow in the dark ? lol 50/50 chance they don't.)

I have a kindle without a backlight. I just get distracted heavily by them. So I have several books only finished 1. Real books however I'd pay quite good for yours. I have the Kahn Trilogy. Alas book 3 I had to get used because the third book was like $100 new. and the other 2 new books in that series are around $80-100 So for that one I've debated selling :O I have around 3 bookcases of books. Parents big book readers , but dad has made the full kindle app

TBH, I actually prefer the Star Trek 25th Anniversary pinball over the Next Generation one. Don't ask me why, but I'm just more fond with the original series than I am with the Next Generation.
