Screaming Females is an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. They have released seven full-length albums. The band comprises Marissa Paternoster on guitar and vocals, Jarrett Dougherty on drums, and Mike "King Mike" Abbate on bass. The band has been featured on NPR, Last Call with Carson Daly, and MTV.

I've been to JBTV many times. The audience is loving it, but it is kind of stunning because the audience is super close to the band. The lighting is closeup and flashing, too, and there is camera equipment all around. It is the most amazing place to see live bands., but honestly, it kind of stuns you into silence and standing still because you are so close up to the band.
